As I love coffee, I decided to try out Moon River Cake Shop's coffee bun to satisfy my cravings~Haha! The first thing that you may see in the picture(s) above would be the price tag. Taste: This is the best part writing this review!!! Once you open the neatly packaged bread which keeps it clean from other people's hands, you will smell the STRONG aroma of the coffee! I AM NOT KIDDING! The coffee smell is sooo heavenly that you will want to bite into the bread immediately. The thin, coffee-butter crust flakes upon biting, crumbs of it actually will scatter out, so eat with the plastic bag! The bread itself is soft, fluffy and chewy, with a mild butter-like filling in the centre which is not too evident. Not at all sinful!
Overall: Highly recommended for coffee bread lovers! This coffee bun might be a bit on the oily side if you leave it till the next day. I will definitely be back for more cuz this bread is quite big and paying $1.10 for it is worth it!
