Old Chang Kee and 1A's curry puffs are the only curry puffs I eat. Both the restaurants serve curry puffs with delicious fillings. The difference, however, is the skin of the curry puff. 1A's curry puffs are extremely crispy and the skin is thinner than Old Chang Kee's. I personally prefer 1A's curry puff skin b/c it is not too floury either. The amount of fillings in 1A's curry puffs lose out slightly to Old Chang Kee's but they are pretty difference in a way that 1A's curry puff's curry is more watery which makes the curry puff not that dry (The skin is pretty dry). The curry is very tasty and potatoes are not overly-cooked. It is a perfect snack. Do give it a try!
