Hubby brought me to Jalan Tua Kong Lau Lim Mee Pok for lunch. My favourite fishball noodles and yong tau foo. The fishball noodles here is nice with springy mee pok. I personally like it dry with more vinegar and chilli. The chili paste they use is very nice and fragrant. The fishball is fresh and springy. The fishball noodles here is nice with springy mee pok. I personally like it dry with more vinegar and chilli. The chili paste they use is very nice and fragrant. The fishball is fresh and springy. The soup that comes with the dry mee pok is nice and sweet.

The Hakka yong tau foo stall is located beside the mee pok stall. You choose what you want from the wide range of selection and they will deep fry it for you till crispy then a special minced pork sauce is poured over the fried items. The fried items will absorb the sauce making it so yummy and yet not soggy.
