Mad Jack Smile Mar 23, 2011

My experience at Mad Jack Cafe and their homemade desserts!
Mad Jack sure attracts lots of students due to the generous discounts they offer to them! Furthermore, there isn’t any service charge at this casual dining restaurant and the food here is certified halal for our Muslim friends!

Well, I had the golden brown Soft Shell Crab for my starter. It was crispy and well marinated for my appetite to start up! Then I had the Extreme Blue Mountains Chicken Burger & Chips. It is filled with 5 homemade chicken patties with tomato, pineapple, lettuce and cheese piled on top of each other. The homemade chicken patties, had fine shredded carrots and bits of oats in it. Healthy and delicious! It was served with Cajun fries that is peppery and tasty.

My last dish was the OZ Brownie with Ice Cream and Choc Topping The brownie is filled with walnut and it is so moist and warm! Match perfectly well with the icecream!

TAB and their own R&D Burger! Smile Mar 23, 2011
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Bars/Lounges | Hotel

TAB is a place where you can enjoy a mini concert with food and drinks to indulge at the same time. It is opened at Orchard Hotel with live-music performances with focus on original music across all genres.

Well, i had the TAB Burger for the mains. It costs $16 which is very reasonable for this burger that is topped with cheddar cheese, cornichons and caramelised onions, with salad and homemade fries on the side

The TAB burger is their very own burger. Researched and Developed there thus also known as the R&D burger. The beef patty is seasoned nicely with the right amount of herbs and spices and cooked to perfection, making the texture of the patty soft and succulent to the bite. This is an superb burger. I can’t wait to come back again for this burger!!!!

Not just another bap. Smile Mar 24, 2011

Bap means rice. So bibimbap simply means mixed rice. As i've said that i really love bibimbap. I will try it whenever i go to a new korean food place. The bibimbap here only comes in metal bowl. No stonebowl but its just as delicious. Served with a raw egg on top but somehow it mixes so well with the rice. I wonder if its cooked or raw already because of the sauce, everything is red after mixing. Do try it! The price is rather reasonable too!

teppanyaki korean! Smile Mar 24, 2011

Ngee Ann Polytechnic serves a wide range of teppanyaki food. I tried the squid teppanyaki and its delicious! The squid also known as sotong is fresh as it is very chewy until the stale one that gives you a mushy taste. The sauce used is delicious too! There is usually a long queue during the lunch hour but its definitely worth the wait if you have the time!(:

Bi bim bappppp. Another bibimbap i know but i just love it so much! The bibimbap here is delicious! The stonebowl was so hot i almost scald myself. Silly me. So if you ever eat there, remember to let it cool down for awhile. But the bibimbap there is really nice and tasty. The burnt rice is super delicious as well. They use authentic korean rice so every grain is fat and filling. A must try!
