Delifrance 1 Smile Mar 23, 2011

Delifrance as what the name says, provides french bread. They do serve main course, coffee and cakes as well but what really stands out for delifrance is their bread.
I always love eating bread although its fattening. Nice crispy warm bread and Delifrance does it just right. So I am going to review a few Delifrance place that i've visited. Well, in fact, i will always buy something from Delifrance if i happen to walk pass one lol

IMM is really near to my school. So I always visit the Delifrance at that place. Yummy i would say. Convenience? Not really. For those who don't drive, you have to train to jurong east then take a shuttle bus to reach IMM. You can walk from the MRT station too but i wouldn't really recommend it.

Love for Ice OK Mar 11, 2011

This dessert stall started out a few years ago. The one next to it is the pioneer of dessert in this region. But nonetheless, they serve a wide variety of desserts ranging from red bean soup to ice longan soursop. They even sell drinks and freshly squeezed lime juice! A great location actually. The laksa stall is actually the one i reviewed about early so you can have a delicious bowl of hot spicy laksa followed by the ice cold dessert served here!

Our first date! Smile Mar 11, 2011

This place is like the worst first date ever. Or maybe the best? tongue
It depends on your other half. Seriously.
For me, its a great great first date. We practically walked from the mrt station all the way in, just to search for this place. The walk was worth it. Not only because, we interacted a lot and had lots of fun finding the place, the desserts are totally delicious. I am salivating now while typing about it.
The chocolate pie and rum and raisin souffle are the 2 desserts we decided to try out. Well, the chocolate souffle is the more famous one but as we are already having the chocolate pie, i decided to have something different. But rum&raisin souffle is super good. The souffle is warm, moist and soft. Delicious thing. The chocolate is not too bitter nor sweet. The pie gives it a different texture. We had tea and icecream as well. They are fine. But the desserts are die for! For those without a car(like us) and finds this place a little troublesome, they have another outlet at clarke quay(i think). You can always check it out on their website.
The environment is good. Quiet with just 3 tables of people. Good place to chillout and have a wonderful evening there.

Just as what the name says. Consuming duck rice from here indeed makes you happyyyyy! lolDD
The duck rice here is yummyyy! Especially when the uncle is so nice to give you more peanuts when you ask for it. The peanuts are totally soaked in the gravy. The soft and flavourful peanuts makes you keep wanting more! That's the reason why i love love this stall. Of course the duck is nice too. And the rice. The duck skin are usually filled with large layer of fats but dont worry, this stall's duck skin is just appropriate. I wonder why. The rice is also cooked in yam. Yay! Yam!
Must tryyyyyyyy(:
