Egg Pratas - $1.60

Egg Pratas - $1.60

The prata sold at the Indian stall is famous for its fragrant and crispy prata. The curry served tastes like normal curry, without those indian curry, which has a strong taste of those indian species. I love their egg prata as its egg is spread throughout the whole prata, and not just concentrated on one area. Also, their prata are generally quite cheap as compared to outside. One egg prata costs as cheao as $0.80 only!

There is always long queue at the prata stall during peak periods and one can expect to wait up till 20 mins for your order.

Lunch @ Quad Cry Dec 22, 2013

Yang Zhou Fried Rice - $4

Yang Zhou Fried Rice - $4

For such a big portion of fried rice which costs only for $4, it's quite worth it. This fried rice may seem to be appetizing with so many ingredients, namely, egg, prawn, crabmeat, fish cake and one fried egg, but it taste quite bland. It seems as if they just fried the rice together with the respective ingredients, without adding any soya sauce or anything that could make the fried rice taste better. But anyway, it's still quite edible if one prefer a bland meal.

Dining at quad is quite a challenge during lunch time as there will be a huge group of people flocking to the basement canteen. It's advisable to come early to grab seats.

Little Fuji - $6.30

Little Fuji - $6.30

My favourite desert of St Marc - Little Fuji. So it's actually a croissant topped off with vanilla ice cream, caramel and some tiny nuts. the combination is just perfect, especially when the sweet piping hot caramel croissant meets the freezing cold vanilla ice-cream.
Croissants

Croissants

The chocolate and strawberry croissants taste good too, but not that crispy as Little Fuji, which is a little disappointing. The chocolate croissant cost $2.40 while that of strawberry costs 20 cents more, at a price of $2.60
Ice Chocolate - $7

Ice Chocolate - $7

Their ice chocolate tastes great too! Thick blended chocolate with ice compliment well with the sweet deserts.

Located at a small corner of Marina Square, St Marc Cafe is just like any other coffeehouse where one can sit down and chill with family/friends, with its awesome deserts. It's not very spacious and its seats are limited. So do expect full house during the weekends.

Poached La Mian with Spring Onion

Poached La Mian with Spring Onion

This poached la mian tastes good with the fragrance of the onion and compliments well with the light soya sauce added into it. However, it's abit plain as there are no more other ingredient besides onion.
Steamed Xiao Long Bao

Steamed Xiao Long Bao

The skin of their Xiao Long Bao is a little thin such that it breaks easily when being taken up from the steamed basket, though it tastes good enough.
Set Lunch Menu

Lunch Set Menu - Dim Sum + Noodle + Beverage = $8.80 nett.

Overall, this lunch is quite value for money at a price of only $8.80. However, the environment is quite noisy during lunch time and it's like dining in a high class food court. On a second thought, what's there more to ask for when it cost only $8.80 for a 3 course set lunch?

FOOD
Fried Carrot Cake with XO Sauce - $10

Fried Carrot Cake with XO Sauce - $10

Cooked in XO sauce, the carrot cake taste quite normal, but could be better if more chili are added to it.
Chicken Chop with Portugal Sauce - $13.80

Chicken Chop with Portugal Sauce - $13.80

This is actually a chicken chop dish, only that it comes with some special Portugal sauce which tastes quite normal - somewhat made up of pumpkin. I love the tender chicken meat though.
Pan Fried Red Bean Pancake - $8

Pan Fried Red Bean Pancake - $8

The crust of the red bean pancake is crispy, and taste great with the fragrance of the tiny sesame bits.

AMBIENCE

Located at a quiet corner of Garden By The Bay, this restaurant offers a calm and peaceful dinning environment to the patrons. A good place to dine and chill as you admire the skytres in the garden.
