Minced Pork Noodle OK Jul 31, 2012

Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Hawker Centre | Noodles

I was with my daughter to have breakfast at this place. I was not very hungry so decided to have noodle. I ordered the minced pork noodle from this stall. The portion of the noodle was quite good. It served with stewed mushroom, minced meat and lean meat. The sauce mix has got a slight vinegar taste. The chilli is not very spicy. It was a delicious bowl of noodle when tossed well.

Fried Mee OK Jul 31, 2012

I was here meeting with a good friend for breakfast. I ordered the economic fried noodle with a piece of fishcake added. The mee was fried very well to give it a good and soft texture. The fishcake tasted normal though. The noodle tasetd good if eating it with the sambal chilli. It will be even nicer if the chilli is more spicy. It tasted simple and nice for breakfast.

Goreng Pisang OK Jul 31, 2012

I was here to meet a good friend for lunch. We happened to walk past this stall after lunch. I decided to get 2 goreng pisang to have it as snack. They coated the banana with batter and fried very well to give the surface a nice layer of crispiness. It did not taste as oily as expected. The sweetness of the banana complemented the crispy texture to make this a delicious snack.

Fried Kway Teow OK Jul 31, 2012

I ordered the fried kway teow to take away. They fried the kway teow and mee very well with ingredients like lup cheong, fishcake, cockles, bean sprouts and vegetable. The kway teow has got a nice fragrance with a very good wok taste. I could smell the aroma even before eating it. The texture was not oily. This is not the best fried kway teow that i ever tried but good to satisfy my craving.

Rice dumpling OK Jul 31, 2012
Categories : Chinese | Stall / Kiosk

I have got a dumpling from this stall to have it for the first time. The dumpling was not from the steamer so the texture was a bit hard. I would suggest to re-steam it before eating it. The rice did not have a good consistence as certain part was a bit not so well-cooked. The meat was a bit too lean thus not as flavorful. It has quite a lot of chinese chestnut though. There was also bits of mushroom in it.
