Brunchie Munchie Smile May 03, 2011

Went for the brunch. I like the wide variety of starters. There were all sorts of cold cuts, soups, breads, salads and more. The spread also includes Fresh Seafood Platter (serving South Pacific Oceanic oysters and mussels from New Zealand), Russian Mimosa, Parma Ham Crostini and Beef with Foie Gras that are ideal for any ultimate seafood and meat lovers. My favourite has to be the Eggs Benedict. It was an enticing runny yolk with melted cheese. Absolutely lovely. Also, be sure to get a glass of their sweet chewy jelly Margarita. Perfect way to end a Sunday brunch.

Bird’s Nest with Water Chestnut & Egg White here is A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!! Totally dream dessert for woman. Hehehe. The texture of this dessert is not too goey and I love the crunchy texture of the chestnut! Bird nest is a delight itself but coupled with the other ingredients in this dish, it’s heavenly. Other than that must try the superior “Double Boiled Shark’s Bone Soup with Twins Treasures - 鲨鱼骨汤炖双宝” if you love authentic soup! Plus be a little adventures and try out unique dishes such as “Braised Goose Web with Mushroom & Broccoli - 西兰花鹅掌扣花菇”. I loved it. The braised goose web is springy and extremely delicious. You have to try it!

Handmade fish dumplings Smile Apr 30, 2011

Other than serving bak chor mee, EAT. also offers handmade fish dumplings (actually their satay bee hoon dish looked quite good too! Shall try it one day!) and they are tasty too! I just wanted some soupy stuff so popped by this branch to have a serving of their handmade fish dumplings soup. MMM I like how when I bite into those dumplings, there’s this slimy fishy texture between the fillings and the skin. Pretty good. Well honestly, EAT. may not be the best or the cheapest for hawker style dishes such as those mentioned above in Singapore, but for that all-day all-night convenience, look no further!

Yup yup I'm a fan of the KFC Cheese Fries! Wouldn't you love the delicious and creamy melted cheese dish? Woah nothing makes a better snack than golden cheese drizzled over golden fries not to mention topped with mayonnaise and fresh spring onions! I wished they could give more spring onions. Bet it will be even tastier!!!! YUMMYYY

Cream of Porcini  Smile Apr 30, 2011

Categories : Multi-Cuisine | Restaurant

They serve porcini soup here! If you love porcini as I do, you will love this soup. It goes really well with grain bread! I love the intense flavour of this soup. It’s creamy and rich. The mushroomy taste is a little earthy but not too overwhelming. Texture-wise it’s definitely made with love unlike other restaurants that opt for the easier way of using instant soups. One thing though, I would love to have more chunks of mushrooms in the soup. That would be perfect! lol
