Another set meal from Ichiban! Smile May 27, 2011

Yes! I went back to Ichiban again! And I tried another set meal from them! Kind of determined to try all their set meals! lol I ordered the curry chicken one and this time round, I've learnt from my previous dining experiences and I shared the set meal with a friend! lol Just nice for the two of us! The curry chicken here is not like any other one. There is cheese added to it! Surprisingly, the cheese actually blends in very well with the curry! The tempura was alright, just a little cold.

Mango Sago Pomelo Smile May 27, 2011

Another mango dessert! The mango sago pomelo here is really different from the others that I've tried! It has additional toppings like strips of jelly and tadpoles in it, giving it a more chewy texture! The mango puree is rather thick and there are also real mango cubes in it! lol However, the shop is rather small and may get overcrowded at times.

I super love crabs! And black pepper crab has always been my number 1 favourite! But the butter crab here is super super awesome!!!! The crab is fresh and have a lot of meat in it and the sauce is simple fantastic! Its creamy, fragrant and complements the crab perfectly! It is almost on par with my all-time favourite black paper crab and its totally a MUST-TRY when you visit this place! lol

Sakae OK May 27, 2011

My cousin gave me a lunch treat at Sakae and the food is rather good! I ordered chicken ramen and shared a plate of fried tofu with my cousin. The noodles are nicely done and the soup is also very tasty! My favourite will be the tofu! Beneath the thin layer of batter, the tofu is really smooth and silky. The sauce is also very yummy and complements the tofu very well! Thumbs up for the tofu!

Haagen Dazs Smile May 27, 2011

With so many other new ice cream shops sprouting out, I hardly had the ice cream from Haagen Dazs for some time. Today, I've decided to have a scoop from Haagen Dazs after dinner and I ordered Belgium Chocolate! It has a very rich chocolate taste but it is not too sweet, suitable for adults who doesn't like food that are too sweet! There are also small bits of chocolate chips in it, just the way I like it to be. Not too chunky that you have to munch on them but will actually melts with the ice cream! lol
