Situated at cosy corner by the scenic Kallang River that used to house the old Gas Station of SIngapore.

A small cafe joint that serve great coffee and hearty breakfast, this is one that all should not miss! Freshly prepared sandwiches and their scrambled eggs toast are their signature hot selling dishes.

Lastly, not forgetting on their aromatic latte that will make any coffee lovers drool! Hop down to Loysel's Toy soon!

Taiwan OK Apr 30, 2011

Ringgggg.......

Hearing the name of this restaurant brought back memories of my trip to Taipei with my beloved gF. Promising to serve authentic Taiwan local food, we decide to give this a try.
Unfortunately, not the best and closest taste of Taiwan that we had or anticipated, however its still a thumbs up for them on their service attitude and cleanliness.

For those who has yet to land their taste bud on authentic Taiwan food, this outlet may be a decent start to it!

One of my regular ramen joint when my stomach start tinkling the bells of desire. Noodle House Ken will always be the first on my list.

A usual double up eggs order on my beloved gF ramen, a bowl of Char Siew or Fish Roe Rice lastly with their house Gyoza would pretty much satisfy our 2 glutton hunger! Love the consistency of their soup base which is light but mesmerising. Char Siew are well cooked and their Gyoza are pan fried with touch of passion. Love the inner fillings.

A cosy outlet that will warm all, have a go @ Noodle House Ken!

Da Lian Noodle Smile Apr 30, 2011

One of a household noodle house name, Da Lian Traditional Noodle is a place not to be missed.

Highly recommended to have this to start off your day, this noodle is unpretentious. The unique touch on this noodle preparation would pretty much be seen on the presentation. The noodle will be nicely blended with their in-house sauce that will open up any glutton's appetite.

Ingredients are all freshly prepared and paired extremely well with the noodle. The most important aspect of a delicious noodle house would be the main star, the noodle. With noodles that leaves no stain of preservatives and being executed to perfection on the cooking mode, this would justify how good your noodles will be! Am not a fan for soggy noodles that are overwhelmed with unpleasant taste!

Recommended! There are 2 Da Lians in Singapore and there are of the same heritage!

A regenerated location @ Mount Sophia, Chalk @ Old School is a hunt for all artisan gluttons.

Highly recommended for a cosy gathering for drinks or over a meal, this is the place where you can spend your whole evening mingling with all of your close mates.

Try it and you will love it!

Lushness in the making!
