Malaysian food Cry Aug 26, 2011

Small portion for ipoh hor fun, tasteless and the prawn are not fresh either. But i like the nasi lemak, curry chicken was marinated nicely and u cant get enough of the curry sauce. really god and authentic.

Price are expensive, as not worth getting hawker food in smaller serving size at this price. Bad service accompanied by below average food. Our order was somehow forgotten and after waiting for 30mins was forced to reorder. When the food finally arrived it was below average. I have had better malaysian food for the same price or cheaper. Will not return..........

Worst bakuteh ever Cry Aug 26, 2011

Categories : Bak Kut Teh

The first thing that you notice coming in is the wall of celebrity photos on the wall and the crowd. This really raises our expectations because apparently many magazine and tourist recommend this place. During weekend its hardly to get seat and the q might takes u more than an hour and still there is people q-ing.

But I never like this bakuteh at all.

The bakuteh here are not like how other served, it is so peppery and garlicky, u dont feel the herbs at all! why not just call pepper soup? The ingredient arent generous, and expensive. i dont feel the fragrant of the rice either. Overall very cheap bakuteh with less variety.

Home made ice cream Cry Aug 23, 2011

This is the place for Premium Home Made Ice Cream On The Rocks.

Was a little worried reading some of the other reviews but found on Saturday evening, that the service was excellent and so was the ice-cream. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and they punched through the line very quickly.

The concept of Ice Cream Chefs is similar to Cold Stone that u can mix any topping with the selection of your ice cream. But the ice cream selection were abit weird. Tried one of them which is Teh Ping, an ordinary ice cream with tea flavor.

nothing impressive.

Be frank, i use to be their fans for mango pamelo sago. It is such a mouthful for a simple dessert after a heavy dinner.

Somehow, someday when i brought one of my friends from aus to try out this dessert. the service was terrible. the mango pamelo sago turns out very watery and not as generous portion as they use to gave.

I order orh nee, which takes them 1 hour to serve it to me!! it totally ruin up my day! i requested to cancel my order as we are rushing to somewhere but they kept giving me a blank promises that orh nee is ready in 5 mins. worst of all, the orh nee was serve in half as if someone has eaten half before serve it to me.

will not bring any friend there anymore, bad service, long q, and pricey.

so-so nasi lemak Cry Aug 22, 2011

One thing i dislike about this place is the presentation of the dish with Plastic Cutlery. In-fact, i hate to dine in with plastic fork and spoons, and disposable plates. disgusting and bad for environment!

i was brought to this place by a friend staying in yishun. and i was told this is the must eat nasi lemak in yishun!

i ordered a set of nasi lemak which comes with the fried chicken, the rice are not properly cook, and the sambal was given only a tiny portion and i were request to pay 50 cents for additional sambal!!

worst of all, they pack their ikan bilis and peanut. so not environment friendly! bad experience!
