I have lunch at Causeway Point’s newly renovated food court – Food Republic. I wasn’t too hungry and decided to order a nice bowl of soup to sip on but was disappointed with this bowl of old cucumber soup.
It was stated $4.50 but the rice wasn’t included! Wouldn’t it make more sense to include the price of the rice…? A bowl of rice was atrociously charged to me at 60cents! So I ended up paying $5.10. Yikes. A tad too expensive for a bowl of hot soup and rice at a food court. :/
I was further disappointed when I tasted the soup – BLAND. In addition to that, the old cucumber didn’t taste old at all! Some were still firm and hard while others are really “old” (as you know “old” means that the cucumbers have been cooked for a long time)
The pork ribs given were all well hidden by the cucumbers that I almost thought there isn’t any pork ribs inside. SO SMALL. Very disappointing meal I’d say.

Didn't exactly like this dish of yong tau foo from Food republic very much.... Too expensive and it isn't really tasty.
I seriously do not get why Food Republic sells such extremely overpriced food. I detest it. :///

The only thing I like about this dish was the soup that came with it, and the chilli. as well as the sweet (and brown) sauce that they drizzled all over the content.

On a whole, blah.

I was craving for yoghurts yet again, and decided to give YoghurtPlus a go again! New flavor this time, Peach!
It looked so cute with the fun-sized marshmallows! (Small little things like these really makes me smile – they’re too cute to be eaten, really!)

However I thought I was gonna spit it all out when I tried it. The yoghurt was all foamy! It was sweet and cold like how I’d like it to be, but it was all foamy. I didn’t dare to finish it, so I just left it there and sat at the small shop. And guess what, the entire yoghurt didn’t melt at all. ._.

Alright it did, but just a little. So scary, what’s inside the yoghurt? The original yoghurt didn’t taste like that... I guess I’d stick to the good ol’ plain yoghurt.

Mos Burger @ IMM Cry Jun 14, 2012

Decided to be adventurous and tried this Ebi Rice Burger from Mos Burger.
I've never dared to try rice burgers in general (not even Mac's - they used to have some weird rice burger) because... burgers = buns + lettuce + some sauce + patties + bun, isn't it?!

I tried it anyway. It was.. oh no.
Sticky, slightly soggy. Too sticky for my liking actually.
Sweetish salty? Ugh I can't describe the taste!

Wasted some space in my tummy. Boo.

Double down @ KFC  Cry Jun 10, 2012

The most sinful way to die, I'd say. 540 calories - that's alot.
It's really salty, I have researched - 1,740mg of sodium - is what is in the double down. That's way too much sodium intake a day for an adult.

It will be fine for someone who loves really salty fast food but not for me! I'd love to have the original buns back with the lettuce and mayonnaise instead of the chicken!
