Pastamania @ Causeway Point Smile Jun 10, 2012

Don't you love pastas! Well, I do! Pastamania never fails to satisfy my pasta cravings every now and then. Super convenient as CWP is just 5-10 minutes walk away from my place. I love this Prawn Aglio Oglio pasta. Spicy with chili padi and fresh prawns. It's slightly on the greasy note so those who don't like greasy food may not like this.
I love set meals so I ordered it with a soup of the day (mushroom cream soup which comes with garlic toast) and a regular soft drink. Fabulous.

Ask for nothing but the best.

Seoul Garden Buffet @ Northpoint Smile Jun 10, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Korean | Halal | Buffet | Korean BBQ | Kids-Friendly

We decided to head to Northpoint's Seoul Garden for dinner since we were starving. Lucky for us, they have an all-day student price promotion!

We also decided to add in kimchi (found near the veggie section) so that we could have Kimchi soup without paying more to change the soup base. ;) It was a huge spread, we couldn't finish the food and started finding ways to hide the food - we didn't wanna pay the penalty for wasting food. But nonetheless the staffs were friendly and didn't charge us any extra when we really couldn't finish our food.
Good service and good food I'd say. But Northpoint's Seoul Garden outlet has limited food choices.

Bring in the variety!

Sashimi @ Kuriya  Smile Jun 10, 2012

I love raw fish! Salmon especially!

Totally love to drop by Kuriya on my way home every time I've a sashimi craving.
Kuriya serves salmon sashimi in a small box with 6 slices for about $4-5 bucks. Pretty cheap to me as their raw fishes are really fresh (and fat!).

They also have good service - the friendly staffs greets each time you enter. They clear the tables promptly too! The only thing I dislike about the place that it's pretty small and it gets really crowded and squeezy during peak hours.

Mushroom Cheese Crepe @ Saybons  Smile Jun 10, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : French | Chinese Soup | Burgers and Sandwiches

Introducing our all-time favourite crepe from Saybons, easily made available to people who are constantly on-the-go! You can sit in their small shop or take it away!
This mushroom cheese crepe never fails to make me salivate with excitement when it's served by the friendly staffs! The crepe is always piping hot and it's only made when you order it. When served, you would be able to smell the buttery crepe with its powerful cheese inside! This crepe is really buttery, yet isn't greasy. Awesome tea snack.

I'm sure some calories for a few bucks won't kill.

Munch away!

This Air-flown sirloin steak was remarkably tasty when matched with the black pepper sauce that it comes with. It was also served with fresh salad in a dressing (couldn't tell what dressing it was, but it was good!) and Aglio Olio spaghetti. The only disappointing part of the dish was that the spaghetti was served cold, and they charged 20c for the ice water. In fact, I was expecting the ice water to be FOC (Free-of-Charge).

I decided to give medium rare a shot - slightly too red for my liking - and it tasted really fresh! I love how they have an all-day set meal: a main dish with a soup and a drink within $20 for mine.

It was dinner-time, so it was kind of packed and stuffy after the crowd starting to come in. After all, PS' outlet is pretty small.
