Gingko nuts with barley  Smile Dec 21, 2011
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Food Court | Desserts and Cakes

It was a very satisfying warm dessert on a cold day after dinner. The aunty at the stall filled the bowl up to brim which made me really happy. Usually for this dessert they don't give many gingko nuts but she gave at least 5 pieces of the expensive nut! smile The barley together with the tau key thingy was a very good combination. It was sweet but not overly sweetened.

Spending per head: Approximately $1.50

Coco Exotic Cake

Coco Exotic Cake

This is a hazelnut chocolate sponge cake with wafer layers in it so you get the crunch within the cake. I don't really like full chocolate sponge cakes so this cake was perfect to my liking. <3 There were also pieces of walnut in it that gave more crunch! smile The cake was sweet but not overly rich. You would definitely crave for more than a piece of this cake, especially if you are a Nutella lover! smile

Yummy Chicken Supreme Pizza  Smile Sep 21, 2011

Chicken Supreme

Chicken Supreme

I tried the new Chicken Supreme pizza on National Day. I had a takeaway from the Jurong Point outlet to have the pizza while watching the parade. It is one of the best pizzas that I have ever had. The toppings were of a variety, including pineapples, pieces of popcorn chicken, onions, tomatoes. The pizza was still hot when I had it and very fragrant too. I particularly enjoyed eating the crust. The dough was fluffy and you could taste that the texture was much different from other pizza crusts. After trying this pizza, I have always ordered it when I am at Pizza Hut,

Huge Chicken Cutlet Smile Sep 17, 2011

Chicken Cutlet

Chicken Cutlet

I was really happy when the meal was served. I did not expect the portion to be so big! Especially the chicken cutlet which was thick and big. smile There were three side dishes: boiled vegetables, fries and tasty rice. Besides that, the soup of the day was also part of the meal, although it was not very nice. The chicken cutlet was the best part of the entire meal. It was really well cooked. Hot, crisp and juicy! YUM. really loved it! The fries was not as golden as those in Mcdonalds. They serve the thicker type which is less crispy. The sauce over the chicken was good! Added extra flavour to the crispy chicken. bowl

Spending per head: Approximately $4.50(Lunch)

The Gigantic Apple Strudel  Smile Jun 17, 2011

When the apple strudel was brought out of the box, I was wow-ed by its size. It was humongous! It was at least 45cm long and 10cm thick! As I took a bite, I was again wow-ed by the taste of it. It was really delicious! There were five layers and two layers were occupied with apple pieces while the other three were pastry. The pastry was crisp while the apple pieces were sweet but not overly sweet. I really enjoyed the dessert and would definitely get apple strudels from this stall again! smile
