when the menu wrote omelette rice i thought the rice would be in the omelette and it would be cool, but it turned out to be an omelette put separately. this plate of omelette rice with chicken cutlet was really filling. there was quite a huge cutlet, potatoes which came together with the sauce and an omelette. the korean curry sauce over it was a little different from norma curry sauce, not spicy at all. the potatoes were soft and the chicken cutlet was not so crispy already because of the sauce but it was still deliciously flavourful!! i enjoyed this plate of rice with omelette. smile

Sushi Smile Apr 28, 2012

Sakae Sushi is a generally reasonable restaurant to feast on some sushi and ramen noodles when you feel like having japenses food! Their conveyor belt system of sushi gives you a choice to have sushi immediately once you are seated and conveniently order other dishes through their computerised system right at the seats. I enjoy eating their fried softshell crab sushi roll and their chiwanmushi. The softshell crab is fried very well and is still crispy when served. The piece of meat is quite big and goes very well with the egg roe and mayonnaise within the seaweed roll. Their chiwanmushi is also another yummy dish that you cannot miss out. It is served very hot but the egg is set very well with a great texture! The ingredients inside include mushrooms and crabsticks.

Burger King! Smile Apr 28, 2012

I had burger king for lunch the other day, attracted by the extra mini sundae in the set meal they advertised on tv. Unfortunately, the ice cream machine was not working that day. ): so instead of the sundae they offered 4 piece nuggets instead. I was okay with the switch because i haven't tried their nuggets before. The nuggets were crispy and fragrant. The sauces accompanying were unique like the kung pao sauce. However there was just too much chicken meat in my meal because I had a chicken burger too, a sundae would have been better! The chicken burger was supposed to be spicy chicken but it's not really spicy.

Kueh Kusu Smile Apr 28, 2012

Bengawan Solo serves one of the best malay kuehs which are worth eating every now and then. The coconut over this kueh was fresh and the texture of the kueh was perfect. It was bouncy, not too starchy or sticky. It had a rich gula melaka flavour and was not too sweet! A great afternoon snack! smile

Fro-yo! Smile Apr 22, 2012

This yoghurt store has a variety of yougurt (both forzen and non-frozen). I ordered a large cup which was $4.90 and had the choice of two fro-yo flavours- honeydew and peach together with an extra topping- fruity cornflakes. It was quite a big cup and the cup is entirely filled not like some places where the centre is empty! The flavours were very natural, for example I expected honeydew to be very artificial but it tasted just like the real fruit! The fruity cornflakes was a good topping to add some crunchiness to the dessert! loved it!! smile
