The Muffinry!

The Muffinry!

As located at Telok Ayer Street, The Muffinry is rather easy to be spotted from its bright orange exterior along the row of shop-houses. As named, though it is quite a newly opened cafe, The Muffinry serves really amazing muffins of many flavours, both sweet and savory ones.
Double Chocolate and Apple Blueberry Crumble

Double Chocolate and Apple Blueberry Crumble

Muffins are definitely a must-try when you are at this cafe. The Double Chocolate (on the left) tastes just nice, not too sweet. The best part of it is that the chocolate is really smooth and goes so well with the moist and fluffy texture of the muffin. Best to have it when its warm with the melting chocolate. Yum, chocolate lovers would surely love this muffin!

I always have apple crumble for its crumble. For the Apple Blueberry Crumble (on the right), the crumble was rather crispy and there were a generous amount of blueberry bit as well. Love this muffin too!
Muffins with Cappuccino

Muffins with Cappuccino

Not forgetting, the coffee served was really awesome. Somehow, it is rather quite hard to find a good cup of coffee with coffee art details in Singapore. The cappuccino was not too bitter and surprisingly sugar is not added for myself. Both were served in very pretty and colourful cups. Seeing the coffee arts so beautifully done, it just makes me happier to drink it along with my muffins too.

The Muffinry is definitely I would love to visit again and again and again, for their muffins and coffee. Heard from the friendly owners that there may be sandwiches and soups. Hopefully there would be more food items added to the menu. Muffins all day long!

Basil Almond Pesto Chicken Linguine

Basil Almond Pesto Chicken Linguine

The Basil Almond Pesto Chicken Linguine tastes pretty good, with pesto chicken chunks and probably with olive oil as well. Quite a good choice of spaghetti dish, if you are considering to try one which is not tomato based.
Chunky Sausage & Tomato Linguine

Chunky Sausage & Tomato Linguine

The Chunky Sausage & Tomato Linguine really has a generous servings of chunky sausages which is the best part of the whole dish. The tomato based sauce is rather sweet as well, simple yet yummy.
Crispy Curry Chicken & Spicy Chilli Fries

Crispy Curry Chicken & Spicy Chilli Fries

For a more filling dinner, you can consider ordering the Crispy Curry Chicken & Spicy Chilli Fries. This main dish is something special as it is curry flavored, but not to worry, the spiciness is not that overwhelming, even non-chilli eaters like myself can enjoy this dish too. In addition, the chunky fries are served with a little curry flavoured seasoning and a salad with corn too.
Butterscotch Apple & Mixed Berries Crumble

Butterscotch Apple & Mixed Berries Crumble

Last but not least, had the Butterscotch Apple & Mixed Berries Crumble as our dessert and this is really good stuff! The crumble with lots of apple fillings is served warm, and with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream on top of it, it just melts in the mouth. For people who loves berries as well as apple crumble, this is definitely a dessert you would not want to miss at FTT!

Pretty interior of Caramel Cafe

Pretty interior of Caramel Cafe

For a lunch at Hairloom & Caramel, I was greeted with the bright colours the moment I stepped in. I love everything about it, from the colourful chairs to the simple yet pretty layout of the table.
Hearty meat sauce spaghetti in tomato & pork

Hearty meat sauce spaghetti in tomato & pork

Being spaghetti lovers, we ordered the Hearty Meat Sauce Spaghetti in Tomato & Balsamic Vinegar. This dish is actually served with a generous serving of minced pork, it might be rather plain for those who do not take tabasco sauce, but it goes rather well with it!
Salmon spaghetti in house special pink sauce

Salmon spaghetti in house special pink sauce

The other spaghetti we ordered was the Salmon Spaghetti in House Special Pink Sauce. It definitely looks creamy and for those who looks cream-based pastas, this is a dish you have to try! I love how the pink sauce tastes like, it tastes really good with the soft and fresh pieces of salmon, topped with pepper and cheese.
Vanilla ice-cream with chocolate sauce

Vanilla ice-cream with chocolate sauce

At Caramel Cafe, there is like a lunch special on weekdays. My friend and I ordered two set lunches which consists of our main dishes, a soft drink of your choice and a scoop of vanilla ice-cream as our dessert at generally affordable prices. I will definitely make a visit back to this cafe again, perhaps to try the salad as well as the hot teas!

Rosti with Chicken Cheese Sausage

Rosti with Chicken Cheese Sausage

Whenever I dine at Marché, having rosti is like a must for me! It just depends on which side dish I prefer my rosti to be with coupled with. This time, I chose the chicken cheese sausage which has a fair amount of cheese oozing when sliced, it just goes so well with the rosti itself and of course, not forgetting the sour cream.
Roasted Chicken Crepe

Roasted Chicken Crepe

If you aren't a fan of sweet crepes, it will be ideal to try out the savory crepes at Marché. There are various varieties of fillings to choose from, and my choice of having roasted chicken was indeed a yummy one. With such a generous serving of fillings, and the sauce for dipping goes pretty well with the crepe too.
Baked Salmon Fillet

Baked Salmon Fillet

For those who prefer a light dinner, the Baked Salmon Fillet is a good choice. It doesn't taste as bland as it looks, with a light taste of herbs. The fillet was quite tender and juicy, definitely a healthy choice as it was not too oily as well.
Chocolate Crepe with Strawberries

Chocolate Crepe with Strawberries

As a major fan of crepes, I won't get bored having another sweet crepe for dessert. Had the Chocolate Crepe topped with chocolate drops as well as fresh strawberries. The best part will be the chocolate filling inside the crepe, it just taste too good especially when the crepe is still warm and slightly crispy.
Root Beer

Root Beer

Last but not least, for beverages, this Bundaberg Root Beer is my favourite at Marché. Shall be more adventurous and try the Ginger Beer next time!

Hob Nob isn't hard to locate at all, once you reached Far East Shopping Centre, it can be easily accessed from the attractive bright signage!
Creamy Pumpkin Soup

Creamy Pumpkin Soup

For anyone who loves pumpkin, this Creamy Pumpkin Soup is real thick and yummy. Served with a slice of garlic bread, a good starter to keep your taste buds waiting for the mains.
Cream of Shitake Mushroom Soup

Cream of Shitake Mushroom Soup

This bowl of Cream of Shitake Mushroom Soup has very generous amount of mushrooms, served with a slice of garlic bread as well. It isn't too rich and creamy, so it will be a good choice for those who likes such soup texture.
Fish and Chips

Fish and Chips

A common dish, this crispy breaded fish fillet is above average. Served with french fries and tar tar, a safe dish yet simple and good.
Pork Cutlet in Cordon Bleu

Pork Cutlet in Cordon Bleu

This pork cutlet is stuffed with cheese and ham, served with french fries. The cheese is not too strong, which complements the ham and pork. The special part is the thick brown gravy with mushrooms, goes really well with the cutlet.
Creamy Baked Dory Fish

Creamy Baked Dory Fish

As recommended by my friend, she told me it is a MUST try dish at Hob Nob. Indeed, I really enjoyed this main dish, the fresh dory fish is served with garlic herb sauce, having sides like salad and potato wedges. I just love how the herb sauce is not so strong, and it just tastes really good with the smooth-textured baked fish. For all fish lovers, do try this dish if you wish to have something different rather than the normal Fish and Chips.
Spaghetti Bacon Aglio Olio

Spaghetti Bacon Aglio Olio

For those who wish to have a lighter main dish, the aglio olio will be a good choice. This dish is served with a blend of chili and garlic, using healthy olive oil. Normally, aglio olio is with seafood, but this is cooked with bacon and it is not too salty as well.
Hob Nob Classic Dark Choc Oreo Cake

Hob Nob Classic Dark Choc Oreo Cake

When it comes to desserts, would recommend this Dark Choc Oreo Cake. It is one of the most popular desserts as mentioned by the server. What makes it special is that, unlike other oreo cakes, this cake is cheese-based but chocolate-based so its rich and tastes good with the crust at top and bottom. Yummy!
Golden Apple Pie A La Mode

Golden Apple Pie A La Mode

Last but not least, non-chocolate lovers should try this apple pie. It is served warm, with a scoop of fresh vanilla topped on it. The pie has a generous amount of apple fillings with strawberry sauce, and it is not too sweet too.

Overall, Hop Nob maybe be slightly out of the way, but it is definitely a nice place worth to visit for a meal with good and cosy ambience. Thumbs up!
