I was craving for Lor Mee and decided to try the Lor Mee from this stall since their Mee Pok was pretty good. Thankfully, the Lor Mee was not too starchy, which is something I absolutely dislike. Unfortunately, the Lor Mee has a weak taste and there wasn't the distinctive Lor Mee taste. It was pretty much like eating yellow noodles in a tasteless soup. Definitely not one of the best Lor Mee I've ever had but at least it was filling. Costs $3.80!

It is one of the new turkey burgers that carl's junior has introduced. Unfortunately, it wasn't really that good. The turkey was too dry and had this very strong grilled smell which I dislike. The teriyaki flavor..which is a thin layer of sweet sauce that's stuck to the upper layer burger, didn't have the most appealing taste. The sauce is literally stuck to the top layer. You can't taste it with the turkey at all. For something so expensive, I'd say it was a total rip-off. I wouldn't recommend it b/c carl's junior serves way better burgers are the same price.

Its been a long time since I last dined at Lai Lai and I decided to have their duck noodles. They have increased their price from $3.50 to $5 over the years. It was pretty shocking to me considering the inflation isn't even that high.

So anyway, it was not as good as before. The duck was too dry..and half of the duck meat I was given I couldn't even swallow it. Also, the skin had a thick layer of fats..it is well roasted though. The sauce isn't as salty as before, which is a good thing.

For $5, I'd say its not worth it. Considering you can't even eat the duck, they should probably charge only $3 b/c all I could swallow was the noodles. Very disappointed and probably will not go back to the place anytime soon. Oh yes, and the place had lots of house flies and I sat at a dirty table for the whole meal b/c no one was around to clean the tables. Terrible dining experience.

Considering Chewy Junior has such a wide range of bright coloured puffs, the oreo puff certainly isn't the most appealing. Then again, I've loved all the oreo flavoured stuff so I decided to give it a try.

I expected it to be really sweet but surprisingly, it was not that sweet and certain parts of it was actually too bland for my liking. The oreo powder topping is really dry and the layer of chocolate below the topping is a little sweet to almost tasteless.

The topping was already very disappointing and when I chewed on the insides its just pure anger. The puff has became so bad I feel like I was robbed of my money. It used to have this chewy feeling to it and now it just like an overpriced cheap puff. Additionally, the cream in it is almost tasteless.

It was a big mistake and I wouldn't encourage anyone to buy the chewy junior puffs from this outlet. Either I'm unlucky and bought it on the wrong day or the outlet has really lost its standard. To be fair, it wasn't bad tasting. Its just not worth the money or the calories.

I decided to try the mix mushroom set from Botejyu and to be honest, when I saw the amount of bean sprouts, I was pretty disappointed. The serving is already pretty small for its price and 50% of it is actually bean sprouts. Also, I had to wait for over 15 minutes and when it was served, it didn't even feel hot.

There are around 3 kinds of mushrooms in the set. It didn't have the strong and appealing mushroom smell and there was no unique or delicious taste in the mushrooms. It tasted like normal quality mushrooms just fried without any special addition.

I'd say it was a big mistake and I definitely will not have it again or recommend it to anyone. Its not worth the money.
