Good Pan Fried Dory Smile Aug 31, 2011   (Related Review)

I ordered the Pan Fried Dory Baked Rice and I like it immensely. I love the cheese. It is very flexible and it is very chewy. The best part of the dish is the pan fried dory. The fish meat is very tender and the skin is very crispy. The dory is very flavourful and cooked to absolute perfection.

However, I don’t really like the rice. The rice is fragrant and all but I don’t like the taste of it. It has a strange taste. The portion they give is quite much. I always feel very full after ¾ of the baked rice and cannot finish all.

Lays Spaghetti OK Aug 31, 2011

I went Lenas to eat with my sister. I wanted to get the lunch special however, we were late. Anyway, my sister ordered the Diced Chicken Pasta. It is with cream base and spaghetti.

When the pasta came, all the smell of the chicken pasta rushed into my nose. I tasted it and found it to be quite nice. The sauce is not too creamy and the pepper the put is just right. The pepper is not too much and not too little. The chicken has a little lemon taste. My sister says that it taste more and more like the Lays potato chips towards the end.

Flosses OK Aug 31, 2011   (Related Review)

The bad thing about meat floss is that they all look the same, brown and more brown. Therefore, it is a little difficult to differentiate.

The fish floss is good. However, it is not as fragrant as the pork floss or the chicken floss. I like the fish floss because it has very good texture.

The chicken floss with seaweed and sesame is good too. However, I do not really like sesame so I wouldn’t really buy it. The good thing is the seaweed. It adds a little something to the floss.

Bakkwa OK Aug 31, 2011

I usually do not eat bakkwa. I do not really like to eat Bee Cheng Hiang’s bakkwa because I think that there are a lot of fats. I do not like the parts that are a little too soft and squishy. I also don’t like the pork smell.

However, I like the sauce covering the outer layer of the bakkwa. I like to eat it with Gardenia white bread. I also like the blend the bakkwa into small pieces and then eat it with porridge.

Vegetarian Prata Smile Aug 31, 2011
Categories : Indian | Café

My family loves the roti prata this shop sells. This shop sells vegetarian roti prata and curry. The shop owner is an Indian from India.

The roti prata they sell is not crispy. In fact it is very soft and not very oily. It is easy to tear the prata. I have no idea what is the difference between a vegetarian prata and normal pratas but my father says it may be the oil they use.

The curry they serve is also vegetarian with a lot of vegetables floating around.
