Service was attentive and pleasant. They made sure we were comfortable, and even recommended a sampler box to us when we had trouble deciding what to have.

Finally settled on:
Salty Caramel Cheesecake - Really good! Perfect play of salty and sweetness. It also comes adorned with a mini macaron, which is a nice bonus. The macarons were a little disappointing.
Lemon Meringue Tart: Could do with a little less sugar in the meringue, but the lemon filling was deliciously sour. It also (thankfully) didn't leave a weird aftertaste which is pretty common in lemon meringe tarts.
Whilst the cakes were great, the latte and cappuccinos were a let down.

1 Caramel Smile Dec 11, 2013

Try the baked alaska, its good. The ambience is very nice as well, secluded location and the place is cozy and relaxed.
Definitely one of the best dessert i've tried. The exclusivity and uniquely of this dessert made me fell in love with 1 caramel.
I ordered the baked alaska which is a must try and the hazelnut souffle which tasted equally good! It's a must try place if you're a lover of dessert.

The price is not considered to be very affordable however worth it for the quality and ambience.

The boutique offers al fresco dining too which can be extremely romantic at night.

Dutch Colony Coffee Co. Smile Dec 11, 2013

Situated right inside Pasar bella is Dutch colony coffee. The ambience is perfect as the whole area doesn't feel like singapore. It's rare to see a Farmers' market in Singapore. The coffee is brewed to perfection. Ordered a mocha with the red velvet cake. Cake tasted normal and a little too sweet however i'll give all credits to the coffee. It's one of the best i've tasted! Will be back to try other coffee.

It's hard to find a space in the area as there're one only common table and a few seats in the store.

VEGANBURG Smile Dec 11, 2013

Is it considered fast food? That's a tricky question!

Tried VeganBurg for the first time. Personally, i think that the taste is not too bad considering that there is no meat in the burger. It is quite amazing the "meat" tasted good, the taste is definitely not compromise. On top of that, it's a healthier choice compared to other fast food branches since there's no processed meat involved. The drinks are also healthier.

Service is fast! And the ambience is good, kid-friendly with a place for kids to play and draw. Best thing is there's student discounts on weekdays! However, more pricey than normal fast food.

Breakfast at delifrance Smile Dec 11, 2013

My favourite croissant is from delifrance. Woke up early that day for an appointment and grab a quick breakie at delifrance. The breakfast set comes with the bread of the choice, scrambled egg and tea/coffee. Famished, i ordered a set of chipolata sausages. It costs around $8 ++ which is generally considered to be affordable.

The service is good. Quite efficient cause the food is prepared in less than 5 minutes.
