went down for lunch coupled of weeks ago and only then i realised this swensen outlet was pretty big. i ordered the sandwich set that comes with a drink, soup of the day and ice cream. cant remember what was the soup, probably cream of corn or something but the taste was not bad. the sandwhich was ok but there was not enough sauce so it was a little on the dry side

went down to eat dim sum buffet coupled of years ago but it was previously called dragon gate. recently, my lab people were craving for dim sum so we went down to the new restaurant to try. i felt the variety of dim sum available was not too much and the taste was average. i personally like their soup, that day was having lotus root soup and it tasted really nice. as for the fried dim sum, i like this fried bean curd skin thing, it tasted really nice and crispy but sadly they dont serve it with dips.
the good thing about this store is the budget buffet, each person is about 14bucks for weekday lunch

went down to raffles place over the weekend so decided to chill out at tcc since there was not much shops that were open during weekend. when i was browsing through the drinks menu i saw this new drink that blend strawberry with cucumber syrup, i was really skeptical when i saw it as i cant imagine how cucumber syrup will tasted like but i still ordered it to try out of curiousity and it turned out pretty nice. it had a really refreshing taste with a slight cucumber taste to it. i also ordered seafood aglio oilo, the presentation looks nice but the portion is really little. but one of the staff there was really friendly so i was very pleased with the service

went down with some friends cause we have the birthday promo which gives us a 50% off for our food. i ordered the fresh catch which comes with a baked potato which was nice. for the fish, the gravy was quite creamy and it goes well with the fish. this time i tried their new brew of duchess earl grey, i think the taste was ok but there is this slight musky taste to it. however, tcc food are really too expensive so i wont really want to patron the place if there is no discount

ate too many times of the crispy chicken set, this time decided to try something so i ordered the stir fry beef. the portion was relatively large and looked not bad. although the taste was nice, i felt the beef seasoning was way too much, i had to rinse the beef in the soup before i ate them. but for people who like strong flavouring then i guess that's the dish for them
