Supper place Cry Sep 12, 2013

I paid $8.30 for these 2 items and 2 drinks. The tissue prata costs $2.50. It was surprisingly filling but was extremely sweet. It was completely coated with sugar on the inside. For the sambal chicken, it was quite spicy and extremely oily. The gravy seemed to be made up of oil as I could see a thick layer of oil on the surface. The person who took our order had a black face throughout like we owed him money. He sounded rather irritable. The guy who served us the food was still alright. They should probably keep their attitude to customers in check otherwise they will end up losing potential customers.

Oyster Fritters Cry Sep 04, 2013   (Related Review)

My first buy was a good experience so I decided to try their oyster flavour ($2.20). There were two oysters in it. Even though they were already deep-fried, the taste of the "seafood" was still there and I did not really fancy it. Perhaps they were not really fresh. The 2 oysters in it were concentrated at one corner of the fritters. This time round, the fritters were thicker and there were not much vegetables but flour in it. It was a disappointment and I would not order their oyster flavour again but I will still try the other flavours.

Set Meal Cry Sep 04, 2013

Ordered a set meal which consisted of a main dish, soup and drink for $10.50++. The main course is a plate of noodles (seasoned maggi mee) with pork chop, sunny side-up, hot dog, chicken wing and ham. For a restaurant, the price is quite economically friendly. The taste was not fantastic though. The pork chop was very tough and was not tasty while everything else tasted average and anyone could whip it up too. Overall, this set meal is not worth a try.

Disappointing soya beancurd Cry Aug 28, 2013

Ordered a bowl of soya beancurd to try ($1.40?) and unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The level of sweetness was just right but the taste of the beancurd was not up to standard. It tasted weird and was not pleasant to eat. The only good thing about it was the smooth texture. It was one of the worst beancurds I had ever eaten and I would not order from this stall again sad Perhaps I'll get other items instead of their soya beancurd.

YTF laksa Cry Aug 27, 2013

Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Food Court | Noodles

The layout of this stall has changed to yong tau foo style. I ordered a bowl of yong tau foo laksa ($2.50) and the minimum number of ingredients required to order was 4. The variety of ingredients is plentiful and I was spoilt for choice. The laksa was quite a disappointment though. It was quite milky and extremely oily. There was a thick layer of oil on top as could be seen from the picture. I'll probably not order this again unless I have a huge craving for laksa.

Spending per head: Approximately $3(Lunch)
