BEST LAKSA EVER Smile Mar 01, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Hawker Centre | Noodles

This bowl of laksa has extra rich gravy which is oh-so-good!! Zhen Shan Mei claypot laksa is definitely the best laksa I have ever eaten in my whole life. I'll prefer this over the famous katong laksa anytime!! They usually have queues when I go but it is worth the wait! This sinful cholesterol-laden bowl of goodness is the bomb! It is quite spicy though, so I don't need to add extra chilli.

Ginger tea specialist Smile Nov 04, 2013

This stall is famous for their ginger tea which tastes really exceptional! Initially, I ordered the ginger tea ($1.20) without knowing that it is famous for it, until I saw that it was stated on their signboard that they are the teh haliah specialist. They certainly live up to their name! It was one of the best (if not the best) ginger tea Ive ever tasted. The ginger taste was very strong and the tea was served real hot too. It is definitely worth the price and try! Ditch your teh tarik and be a little more adventurous, try out their teh haliah!

1) Pure jee ind $8.88++
Nuts and chocolate mousse.. this cake is really yummy, with hints of bitter chocolate. But after gst and service charge, this costs around $10 which is quite expensive.

2) Assorted mixed fruit tarts $6.80++
This fruit tart wasn't sweet at all and the custard below was soft but not very smooth. Perhaps I'm not a tart person so this doesn't wow me.

3) Crepe with chocolate sauce and whipped cream $8.50. The taste of the crepe was quite strong as compared to other places but doesn't really seem to be worth the price.

4) Cafe au lait $5.60++
Coffee taste was quite strong and fragrant but it doesn't look attractive as there's no coffee art. It's good though!

The ambience is lovely and i love the furniture and decorations. we actually chose other desserts but almost everything was out of stock already when we were there at late 8+ so we had to settle for these 3 desserts.

Got a box of 6 chocolate buns because they were so good! The bread was soft and fluffy. I really loved the texture. The chocolate taste was not that strong though. The taste was also not sweet even though it was chocolate flavour and it made the bread even nicer! They also have custard flavour for this bread but I prefer the chocolate flavour. A very simple bread but tastes very delicious smile Will definitely buy it again! Even though there was a long queue, it moved very fast due to the efficient staffs smile

BEST! Smile Jun 26, 2013

Best snack ever! I love this teri tama to deathhhhhh! This teri tama consists of 4 takoyakis with egg mayos for toppings and not to forget, fish flakes! Favourite takoyaki of all time! Every takoyaki ball consists of a generous piece of squid meat. It is so addictive that i crave for it every time I pass by there! They sell their takoyaki balls in quantities of 4 and 8 and I always find myself wanting more whenever I get the portion of 4.
