Milk Green Tea Smile Mar 08, 2013
Categories : Taiwanese | Bubble Tea/ Tea

the milk green tea here is one of my favourites among all the bubbletea shops! the 2nd lowest level of sugar is enough for me. This is a very refreshing drink especially when it is icy cold. The taste is not strong so it is something you can get after a heavy meal or if you are looking for a "light" drink. The green tea and milk is blended well together and I simply love it!

Good! Smile Mar 06, 2013

Fried country mushroom ($7.95)
The batter is so crispy yet the mushroom is soft and juicy. It goes well with the sauce provided. The mushrooms do not have a strong taste while the honey mustard sauce has a heavier taste so both flavours did not clash.

Garlic herb mussels ($7.95)
The mussels go well with their garlic herb sauce. The bread is there for you to utilize the remaining of the sauce because it is oh-so-yummy!

Caesar Salad with Crispy Whitebait ($10.50)
I love the crispy silver fish toppings a lot. It is a great combination to the caesar salad.

Manhattan Fish ‘N Chips ($11.95)
The batter is really crispy and the fish is soft and tender.

Manhattan Flaming Seafood Platter ($37.95)
The calamari is deep fried to perfection! The batter is so crispy and the calamari is not hard, easy to bite and swallow. This platter is great for sharing especially if you want to try more items instead of just the signature fish and chips.

Citrus Mint ($5.50)
This is going to be my new favourite drink there. I really love the combination! It is so refreshing and it makes a great thirst quencher.

Sizzling Brownie with Ice-cream ($9.90)
My favourite too!! Brownie is warm and moist (it reminds me so much of molten chocolate cake) and goes perfectly with the vanilla ice-cream!

Awesome Japanese Hot Pot! Smile Mar 06, 2013

I do not like to eat beef but I fell in love with the wagyu beef!! It is so yummy! The meat are all sliced thinly so just dip the meat into the boiling soup for 2 seconds and you can eat it already!

Tried the 4 soup bases
Shabu Shabu, Miso with soya milk (only available on Friday, Saturday, Sunday), Kimchi, Sukiyaki (clear)
My favourite soup bases are Kimchi and Sukiyaki! The Miso with soya milk is very unique too.

There are also different dipping sauces recommended to complement each soup.

Smooth and silky Smile Mar 05, 2013

Recently, I discovered My Bean House and decided to try it out. The beancurd is very smooth and silky and also it melts in your mouth. It is very refreshing to eat it on a hot day. I ate two bowls at one go! It is almost on par with big names such as Lao Ban Beancurd. There are also other flavours but I only tried the original flavour. I will go back and try the other flavours soon! smile

I love their ice-cream there! They have quite a number of flavours. Just looking at the different colours of the ice-cream displayed makes me happy! This time round, I had the cheesecake ice-cream& Chocolate hazelnut ice-cream. the cheesecake flavour has an authentic cheesecake flavour. the chocolate hazelnut ice-cream is really good too! It is very rich in chocolate and both flavours compliment each other well a lot smile
