Red chilli fish $9.90: Fish was crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside. The red chilli was somewhat like sambal - sweet and spicy. Portion seemed small for the price of $9.90 though.

Tahu goreng $3.90: There were toppings of bread crumbs (I think) on top and the tahu was fried very well. The skin was crispy yet the insides were soft. The taste was enhanced by the chilli provided too. Portion is acceptable for this price as the setting is somewhat like a casual restaurant, but not quite.

wanton noodles Smile Dec 16, 2014

Wanton noodles $2.80: The noodles had the springy texture with every bite and the gravy was well-flavoured but not overly salty/sweet, making the noodles flavourful and tasty. The wanton skins were thin and there were some meat fillings in it, its soft texture contrasting with the crispy fried wanton skins. The gravy given was more than usual thus the noodle was kept wet throughout. Add in chilli to enhance the taste!

Dinner OK Dec 16, 2014

Settled a quick dinner here nearby and ordered oyster omelette $12, claypot chicken dice $12, and fish soup $5.50. The claypot dish had lots of black fungus in it and the gravy was quite watery. Along with the oyster omelette, both dishes seemed to be poorly executed and done hastily. The omelette was oily, thin, not at all fluffy. The fish soup on the other hand had fresh fish slices in it although portion of ingredients was quite little. Rice was also lumpy and stuck together.

Prawn noodles Smile Dec 16, 2014

There's always a queue at this stall whenever I pass by. I had a bowl of prawn noodles for $3. The gravy was not bad and complemented the noodles and ingredients well. The prawns tasted fresh too but the portion of the ingredients was quite little and the fishcakes were thnly sliced. The noodles had a springy texture too. Overall it is worth a try but I wouldn't queue long for it.

Yummy cookies Smile Dec 16, 2014

Tried 2 of their flavours - Ginger and milk chocolate orange. The ginger taste was surprisingly strong and had a savoury taste while the cookie had a sweet taste. If you love ginger, you'll love this! As I'm not a fan of ginger, I prefer their milk chocolate orange cookie more. The milk chocolate taste had just the right amount of sweetness and the orange taste complemented the milk chocolate well. The cookies had a soft and chewy texture, and crisp edges. They felt warm to the touch too, probably fresh out of the oven. At almost $3 a piece, it's quite expensive but they sure are delicious!
