Me and my friends went for one of their Ramadhan Buffets and was really dissapointed in
the quality of their food. They do not remotely taste mediterranean to me.

In fact, i feel that most of the cuisine offered were kinda jumbled up.

We found a Sharkfin-look-alike soup in the buffet menu.
The yellow rice was not flavourful, it just tasted bland.

But the service and environment totally made up for it. It is really a nice place to chill out with your friends.

Spending per head: Approximately $15(Dinner)

Pasta mania  Cry Jun 21, 2011

Categories : Italian | Pasta | Halal

Is it just me or is the standard for Pasta Mania is crashing down?

i ordered my usual Spicy Chicken Pasta and it was quite watered down and not as spicy as it used to be.

The soup pf the day, Minestrone was also a total let-down cos it was also watered down.
The only nice thing about the meal was the garlic bread and even that wasn't that fantastic..

It might be because i went during dinner and the kitchen is extremely busy but i was dissapointed with the quality of food they are now serving.

Not coming here again!  Cry Jun 21, 2011

Went over to mad Jack for a quick dinner before we head off for games but it was an utter dissapointment. Firstly, it was so stuffy in the cafe. There were just too many tables, too many people in such a small space.

2ndly, the service staff are not well trained. One of the guy delivered food to us, not knowing what it was, we asked him what it is. He shrugged off and left. like seriously? U don't know your own food and you are so rude about it!

I ordered the Fish and chips. let's just say i tasted better Fish & Chips.

Luch deal  OK Jun 21, 2011

Categories : Restaurant | Seafood

Since it has gain it's Halal certificate, i dropped by Fish & Co at IMM during lunch and was happy they had this Lunch deal, Seafood Platter for One.

However, service was quite bad. They took so long to take our order, took even longer to send our food. Worse, they ran out of chilli sauce. Seriously??
How can you run out of chilli sauce.

The food was so-so. My friend spotted a long hair on her dish and requested to have a new one. But it deifnitely killed her appetite already.

probably won't be coming by here for lunch again since it's such a mayhem!

a dissapointment  Cry Jun 21, 2011

I use to love to go to Al Ameen for supper. It a super chillax place to go hangout till morning but lately i think the standard has dropped and the food are not as nice as it used to be.

Not sure if they changed their cook or whatever but a normal tomyam soup was already a dissapointment. It was quite watery and i could count the seafood they serve in that bowl of tom yam soup.

My friend ordered the sambal stingray and that was a dissapointment as well. the fish sticked to the banana leaves on one end so they could eat one side of the side. sad
