I have always preferred the chicken over at Popeyes over the rest as I find the quality of food is there. The chicken is not as oily and they are always served piping hot (with the smoke still coming out when I bite into the meat!) I love to eat the skin as there isn't much fatty deposit and thus, not that oily. And the original simply rocks, even though spicy doesn't taste as bad.

Best of all, I love the sides! I'll always choose my all-time favourite mash potato (filled with hot gravy sauce and chewy pieces!) and I simply love the biscuit, with or without strawberry jam. And last but not least, a chocie of soft drink to complete the 2-piece meal.

I love Tues because it is Gelare's half price waffle deal. On this day, several people flock to the different Gelare outlets to enjoy this sweet treat.It is usually accompanied by ice-cream, whipped cream and sometimes fruits.

I ordered the Frutti Waffle with 2 scoops of my favorite ice-cream - honey malt crunch and macadamia. This waffle-ice cream set is slightly more expensive (by a few cents) due to the additional slices of strawberries and peaches. I love mine with lots of whipped cream and chocolate sauce (or one can choose maple syrup) This offer just makes everyone love Tuesday!

To all clam chowder lovers out there, one should definitely try the one over at Fish & Co (Changi Airport). Perhaps the standard of food is better here as this is the airport after all, where international guests from around the world come to visit our little island.

At first glance, it didn't look very chunky or thick. Instead, it was smooth and contained chewable bits of meat. With a dash of pepper, the soup was perfect and I drank till the very last drop. A bit pity was that the surface area of the serving dish was rather big so the soup got cold easily. Nevertheless, it was a great start to a great meal!

I love eating seafood and Fish & Co is one of the restaurants that I love to frequent to have my indulgence.My favorite dish would have to be seafood platter for 2. It contains a variety of seafood and best of all, I get to share with my boyfriend!

This wonderful platter contains a variety of seafood such as prawns, mussels, squid, fish with fries and raisin rice. Throw in some garlic (my favourite), chilli and mayo as accompanying sauces and this platter would be finished soon. This is great to be shared between two people or even more than that, if one is ordering something else

This is the one dish that got me hooked at Fish & Co!

I remembered how I fell in love with Lao Fu Zi's char kway tiao at Old Airport Road and thus, without hesitation, I decided to try the same stall but this time, it's at S'pore Expo.

However, having the same name didn't necessary mean the standard of food would be the same. The char kway tiao was more oily and didn't taste as nice as the other outlet. After a few mouthfuls, I decided not to eat as I felt very full already.

Guess I'll only eat at the Old Airport Road for the original char kway tiao.
