The mega Earthquake at Swensen Smile Nov 21, 2010

The Earthquake at Swensen has always been a favourite of mine because I get to choose different flavours of ice cream, put together in this gigantic bowl of dry ice with whipped cream topped with cherries. The only headache is which flavours to choose from the wide variety available. This is a great item to be shared with your family and friends. Yummy!tongue

I'm simply a sucker for chocolate and ice-cream and when I get the two together, I feel sinful and light-headed. That's exactly how I felt when I ate the yummy combination of ice-cream and the house's famous chocolate cake. I think the latter must be the most chocolatey cake I've ever eaten.

I could never miss out my white chocolate and indeed, I ordered this white chocolate cake with caramel (2 of my favourites!) The sweetness was extremely overwhelming but I simply loved it! Those who love chocolate and ice cream, this is one place you should definitely not miss it.

Loving Ben & Jerry's ice-cream Smile Nov 21, 2010
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook

I have always loved the unique flavours of Ben & Jerry. It's a company with good motto (Peace, Love & Ice Cream) plus it's innovative with the wild and new flavours available during the annual Chunkfest.

My bf and I were sharing two scopes of ice cream so I ordered a mint one for him while a chocolatey one for me. I love the chunks of stuff (e.g choclate bits, cookie pieces) stuffed together with the ice cream because they just taste heavenly when you chew them together.

Ikea's famous meatballs Smile Nov 21, 2010
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Western Variety | Kids-Friendly

I have long heard of the famous meatballs at Ikea but have yet to try them so there we were, window shopping at Ikea and decided to try them once and for all.

The aroma of the food reached my nose before I could even see it. And the fact that nearly everyone queuing before me included a plate of meatballs in their purchases made me so sure that I would definitely follow suit. Plus, I got to eat all 10 myself since my bf doesn't eat beef (the meatballs are made up of a mixture of pork & beef actually)

With a plate of meatballs safely on my tray, I also took a plate of chicken wings as the smell just got me hooked. For my main course, I also took a chicken drumstick with sides while my bf took the salmon. And I regretted taking the chicken drumstick, not because it wasn't nice but finishing the plate of meatballs got me 3/4 full. I wasn't sure what was the accompanying sauce made of but it was simply yummy, with the add-on cranberry sauce (I think). The chicken wings were also crispy and juicy, unlike some wings I ate which were hard and dry. These are definitely the two must-try side dishes at Ikea!
Ikea is also well-known for its food :)

What caught my attention was this standee that promoted this new wagyu beef burger and it made me join the queue at Mos Burger immediately. The beef patty was juicy and tender and paying the additional 20cents for the cheese was definitely worth it - the burger seemed to melt in the mouth! I do hope that Mos Burger will make this one of the permanent residents here as I have definitely fallen in love with this burger smile
