The better chicken Smile Mar 16, 2011

I have always preferred the chicken over at Popeyes over the rest as I find the quality of food is there. The chicken is not as oily and they are always served piping hot (with the smoke still coming out when I bite into the meat!) I love to eat the skin as there isn't much fatty deposit and thus, not that oily. And the original simply rocks, even though spicy doesn't taste as bad.

Best of all, I love the sides! I'll always choose my all-time favourite mash potato (filled with hot gravy sauce and chewy pieces!) and I simply love the biscuit, with or without strawberry jam. And last but not least, a chocie of soft drink to complete the 2-piece meal.

I had this honour to dine at a alfresco dining place up at Mount Faber, all thanks to one cohort mate who used to work at Mt Faber. It is not an easily accessible place and only those who drive will frequent this place. Nevertheless, I had an enjoyable night at Emerald Lodge.

The night started off with the plate of yummy starter comprising of calamari, chicken wings and spring rolls. The chicken wings were addictive and I felt near full even before my main course was served. Surprisingly, i could still finish the spaghetti. Guess it's the wonderful combination of the cream sauce, chewy chicken meat and vegetables smile

When I know there's dessert coming, I'll definitely save some space in my stomach for it. It was a decision I didnt regret. The vanilla ice-cream and apple crumble combination simply made me melt. I would not mind having another potion, if I wasn't that full.

The beautiful scenery, wonderful atmosphere with efficient service staff and great company of food and friends..isn't life great? smile

J Co is not only a place with yummy doughnuts, it is also where one can get great cooling beverages. My first drink was Caffe Avocado with lots of whipped cream. It was definitely something different from the usual coffee drinks found at other coffee joints. And with heaps of whipped cream and chocolate pieces, this is definitely one recommended drink smile

Cooking at Pepper Lunch Smile Mar 31, 2011
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Japanese | Food Court | Steaks and Grills

I like to dine at Pepper Lunch because I simply love to play with my food (and eat them in the end!) However, one has to be quick or else the food will end up more than cooked - burnt in the end. I would add the honey brown sauce together with the garlic soya sauce, mixing the butter with the hamburger patty and chicken meat. Not forgetting the vegetable which burn easily. With a bowl of miso soup, this makes a great and simple meal smile

Chocolatey soya milk :) Smile Mar 31, 2011

Categories : Desserts and Cakes

Mr Bean has the new product, Chocolate Ice Blend which is a must try for all chocolate lovers. It's a blend of soya milk, chocolate powder and ice, sort of like ice blend. Quite a refreshing choice from the usual normal soya milk. It will be great if they can include chocolate chunks smile
