My favourite fish burger Smile Mar 17, 2011

When I'm not in the mood to eat my favourite meat - chicken, fish is my next best alternative. That's why when I do not feel like eating McSpicy or McChicken, Fillet O' Fish is the choice. Eating it somehow makes me feel less unhealthy as it's fish after all. The fillet is cooked to perfection and the tender meat underneath the golden crust simply melts together with the tartare sauce. This is definitely one of my favourite McBurger!

The best yoghurt of them all Smile Mar 17, 2011

Recently, there are a lot of yoghurt themed shops popping around the island but I feel that Glacious stands out with their 'clean' concept besides the usual DIY yogurt corner. I like how this shop has a winter kind of feel with its white and blue theme. And the varieties of toppings ranging from cornflakes to mini marshmallows truly entice me! lol

There's something special about the fish soup from Lee Kwang Kee that makes me love its fish soup so much. Not sure whether it is the hei bi or my favourite seaweed, nevertheless, this is the only stall where I order my fish soup from.

It doesn't have a strong fishy smell and the fish meat is fresh. Adding a bowl of rice make it a complete healthy meal. And not forgetting about the salty yet addictive 'tao juon' sauce to dip the fish in. I'm hooked onto Lee Kwang Kee's fish soup! mad

Yummy coffee at Starbucks Smile Mar 16, 2011

Categories : American | Coffee

Starbucks Coffee is one of those cozy places where one can chill put with friends and have great coffee. So there I was at one of its outlets, planning to order something different.

Java Chip Frappe seemed interesting so I decided to order a grande one, without my usual favourite whipped cream. It was not a bad choice after all, with a strong taste of coffee without it being 'ruined' by the sweet taste of whipped cream. A refreshing coffee drink to add into my order list in future visits.

The sight of people eating curry wanton mee at Old Town White Coffee appealed to me so I decided to try it one day. To me, I have always thought that this is a place where people just drink coffee or eat half boiled eggs.

The curry wanton mee smelt nice when it was served to me so I couldn't wait to dig into it. The serving wasn't really generous; there were only a few pieces of vegetables, wanton and stuff. Perhaps I was hungry at that point of time so I found it rather delicious. However, come to think about it, it was rather pricey for a plate of wanton mee with minimal ingredients. Thus, one try would be sufficient for me. tongue
