The Tom Yam seafood fried rice tastes really nice. The rice was very well cooked. The taste was also very nice. It was quite a big portion and so I shared it with my sister.

It is also value for money. The service provided was also very good. The staff was very friendly.

Delhi restaurant  Smile Jun 29, 2011

It was my first time going to this restaurant. The ambience was really nice. The staff were also very friendly. I wanted to try something new and ordered the kashmiri naan. It was very sweet as it had raisins inside and nice. Unlike other naans, where u would have to dip in gravy, this naan can be eaten on its own.

I also ordered rice with butter chicken gravy. The gravy was really good and thick. Tasty indeed.

ICE CREAM GOODNESS!  Smile Jun 26, 2011

We heard about the new ice cream shop in town and decided to pay it a visit. Definitely not a disappointment as the service and the ice cream were really good. A variety of ice cream that you can choose from.

I decided to try the peanut butter cup perfection. If you are a peanut butter lover, you would love this ice cream as the taste is really rich and just perfect. This together with a plain waffle is simply awesome.

Prices are also really reasonable compared to other ice cream shops and the taste is also much better .

Would definitely be going there again!

Irresistably Thai  Smile Dec 31, 2010
Categories : Thai

The crispy prawn toast, bread dipped in egg and prawn, that is accompanied by their special chilli sauce is one of our favourite dishes.
Tofu Square, another favourite dish of ours, is deep fried bean curd topped sweet sauce with chilli flakes and chopped peanut. However, recently I noticed that the chef has reduced the amount of peanuts and sauce used as topping. As a result, the dish tastes quite bland.
Tom Yam Seafood Soup. Don’t be deceived by the colour of this soup. It might look different from the usual Tom Yam Soup that you might have tasted elsewhere, but, it certainly does not lack the zing. It’s a spicy soup, with mushroom, chicken, prawn and squid. If it’s your first try, go easy on the first spoonful, or have the icy cold water beside you.
Prawn Omelette. Another one of my favourites, is white rice served with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, sliced onions , lemon and of course, cooked prawns accompanied by their special sauce, which I think is a mixture of finely chopped chilli padi and onions in lime juice.
Banana Fritters. If you are watching your diet, then avoid this dish. This is a desert that has 3 scoops of coconut ice-cream served in a bowl, and fried banana, otherwise commonly known as, you guessed it, ‘goreng pisang’, that come in a plate. It has a different combination of hot and cold. Even though the coconut does not taste rich and fresh, it’s worth giving this dish a try.
Overall rating of the food served here is good. However, be prepared to fork out about 50 bucks, for the above mentioned dishes (including tax)

A taste of Middle East at Nabins  Smile Dec 31, 2010

Categories : Middle Eastern/Mediterranean | Restaurant | Live Sports Broadcast

Nabins is one of the most relaxing places to go to and jus chill out with your friends or loved ones. Nabins serves Arabian food, with seafood platters right up to very traditional dishes. Its meat platter, with chicken drumlets, fries, onion rings and calamari served with chilli and mayo, is enough to feed a family of 4. Their sheesha flavours range from watermelon to bubblegum right up to mint. The Baklava is a sweet pastry filled with chopped nuts and honey. This dessert is for those who have a sweet tooth. It is extremely sweet because of the honey and it is also very nutty. The kofta kebab is one of my favourite dishes. It is made from lamb and a little bit crunchy , a little spicy due to the rich spices but it is definitely worth your money. It is $7.40 for 4 kofta kebabs and it is rather filling.
Nabins has a very comfortable feel with sufficient cushions and very warm lighting. The service provided at Nabins is satisfactory as they never fail to greet you with a smile.
