Milk Shake@Once Upon a Milk Shake OK Apr 16, 2012
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Café

Bought a voucher for a milk shake at Once Upon a MilkShake. We went to redeem the milkshake at Maxwell Chambers.

Can't really decide what to go for as they only have the cartoon menu with minimal description. Decided to go for the King's Favorites since it seems to the more popular and top grade choices. We ordered Agent Red Velvet since the cocoa with cream cheese seems interesting.

Was kind of put off when we received a bright pink milkshake for our order. Nothing came to my mind except lots of colouring shocked.

The milkshake was thick and we do taste the cream cheese but nothing much of the cocoa. I only had a few sips from that cup.

BiBim Bap@ Seoul Garden Hot Pot OK Apr 15, 2012

Categories : Korean | Steamboat/Hot Pot

We were trying to find a place at Habour front for lunch, somewhere which was not too crowded and not too expensive.

We can't get enough of Bulggogi in Korea and thus decided to give this Seoul Garden Hot Pot a try.

We ordered Bulggogi Chicken Bibim Bap @$9.90++ and upgrade for starters and white fungus sweet soup with an additional $3.

The starters were disappointing. Bulggogi literally means "fire meat" in Korean, but the dried chicken pieces were nothing near to what we had previously. The hotpot rice, sauce and fungus sweet soup were just normal.

Baked Rice@Kim Gary Smile Apr 15, 2012

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong

We are back to Kim Gary again. This time, we ordered their famous baked rice.

Refer to my blog for more information http://monsoontravel.blogspot.com/

We ordered pork chop cheese baked rice and beef cheese baked rice. Their baked rice are topped with generous portion of cheese and big pieces of pork chop or beef.

We were usually a bit hesitant to order beef in a average or casual restaurant as it is always below expectation. But the beef in Kim Gary is tender and nice!

Try their Yuan-Yang, coffee + tea which is quite nice as well.

PoPiah@QiJi Smile Apr 15, 2012

Qi Ji is a small eatery chain famous for their Popiah and Nasi Lemak.

As it is a small eatery, I will usually take away than to eat at the shop.

Like their soft thin popiah skin. Black sauce, chilli and garlic are spread on the skin before the flavourful turnip fillings, eggs, bean sprouts and toppings are added to the skin and tightly wrapped to a roll.

Was always impressed on how they wrapped the popiah nicely such that the fillings will not fall off easily.

Milk Pan@Petite Provence Smile Apr 15, 2012

There are quite a number of nice bakes offered by Petite Provence. Their famous soft custard wassant and delicious sesame pizza are among my favourite.

Decided to go for their soft yummy Milk Pan this time round.

The bread is soft as their wassant and their custard-like milky filling is super yummy! But it does get a bit "gelat" after a while, wonder how much calories is this innocent looking nice little milk pan.
