The queue will look daunting forever no matter what time you go to this outlet along Upper Serangoon Road. However, the staff and patrons there are very well-trained and the queue moved very fast. So you don't feel the queue is a killjoy. They have a wide display window for all their dishes so that you can make up your mind fast while queuing and it's one of the points that makes the line move so fast.The chicken wings looked very popular because they constantly have a new batch to pour into the container. However, I didn't order that. Instead, I ordered their otah, fish cake and egg. Cucumber will be given at the cashier.

The rice is their highlight. I can tell why they are so popular. It's got that really fragrant and sweet coconut smell and it tastes really nice and not clumped together. Unlike other nasi lemak that will make you drink 10 glasses of water, this nasi lemak is surprisingly refreshing.

The other highlight is the otah. I don't know if they make it themselves, but it's really very nice. Better than average otah you can buy on its own. This otah is not extremely spicy, it is just right to excite the taste buds without paralyzing your tongue. The sweetness and saltiness are balanced too!

The fried fish cake is the normal fish cake you can find in economical beehoon and nasi lemak stalls all over Singapore, so there's nothing special. Same goes for the egg.

So don't be turned off by the long queue, its speed may surprise you! Try this much-talked-about Nasi Lemak at least once in your life!

My friend introduced this bakery to me and I was immediately interested because of the presentation of all the cakes in the display case! They are so beautiful!I bought the last piece of Strawberry Shortcake and Rare Cheese Mango. The prices are reasonable for such pretty and yummy creations!

The Strawberry Shortcake is very soft and light. The strawberry is sweet and fresh too!

The Rare Cheese Mango is really good as the cheese is creamy and the mango's sweetness is a delight for me!

These are so pretty and tasty that they are perfect as presents for visiting friends!

Decided to have a quick dinner at Ajisen because our movie was about to start, however, the serving time was quite long. Luckily, that didn't make us late for the movie.

Anyway, when the Crayfish Ramen was served, I was a bit unpleasantly surprised. The crayfish was so small. I've always had this dish in Compass Point and other branches but it looked like AMK Hub is a little different.

Anyway, the taste was the same, so that's fine. It's still my favourite ramen from Ajisen though not my favourite ramen joint throughout Singapore.

I loved the gyoza though. They're crispy on the outside, the skin did not tear as soon as you grab them with chopsticks, the meat and vegetable mix inside was juicy and not too salty!

Received these egg tarts as a gift from parents of my ex-student!

The egg tarts look nothing like conventional egg tarts from major bakeries and their taste surely is not conventional as well!

The egg tarts are really delicious! The tart itself is not hard, it is crumbly and crispy!

The egg is smooth and fluffy! It is also not too sweet.

As you can see, the box is nice and it is ideal as a gift for people when you meet or go to their houses! I need to have more of their goodies! *sets off to Novena*

I seldom treat myself to yogurt because it's terrifyingly expensive (Yoguru) and so, I was terrified. However, I saw the board over the counter and thought that it's okay to try once in a while especially when it's not $7 per cup! Plus, the staff was really friendly and she has a wonderful smile.

I had the original flavour with attap seeds. I really like it very much! They complement each other very well! The yogurt is not very sweet, in fact, it's sour and that's really stimulating and refreshing! Adding the sweet attap seeds is just fantastic, they balance out so nicely! ♥

I will go and try other flavours next time when I have the chance!
