Mcgriddles with sausage and egg OK May 26, 2013

Categories : American | Fast Food | Ice Cream and Gelato | Burgers and Sandwiches | Kids-Friendly

Brought a set of the Mcgriddles with sausage and egg for a weekend breakfast. Firstly, the Mcgriddles which I think is the bread is quite different from the normal toast Mcmuffin. The Mcgriddles has a slightly sweet, soft and fluffly texture as compared to the normal toast. As for the sausages, it is sufficiently cooked, has a slight chewy texture. Lastly, the egg was pretty well cooked which a soft and smooth texture. As for the hashbrown, it has a nice golden brown colour with a slight crispy texture and it's not too oily.

Categories : Japanese | Buffet

When to this Kiseki buffet with friends for the buffet lunch. An additional $8 was added due to the period of mother's day period and at the same time it is the salmon period. Let's start from the sashimi section whereby they offer different type of sashimi which includes the salmon, tuna and octopus. All the sashimi is cut evenly and is sufficiently thick. The nice grain of the salmon can be clearly seen and the freshness is also there. As it is the period of the salmon, the salmon fish head is also made available to those who like to eat especially the belly part of the salmon and the size of the fish head is also quite big. Lastly, apart from the normal tempura that they have such as the deep fried epi prawn, tempura vegetable, they also offer the deep fried salmon. It has a crispy texture on the outside while soft on the inside with slight seasoning added. Desserts was also made available with a wide variety of ice cream flavours to choose from which includes vanilla, chocolate, matcha, black sesame and lastly the wasabi flavour. Waffles, mini cakes, puddings and fruits are also available in the dessert section. Overall, one person cost about $42 after adding the additional $8 for the mother's day period and the service charge and the gst.

Categories : Singaporean | Halal

Decided to try out their breakfast porridge with come with the you tiao. Firstly, the porridge is sufficiently cooked, which is not too watery and has a smooth texture. Inside the porridge, bits of chicken can be found with generous amount. As for the taste wise, it has a slight pepper flavour and the garnish of the fresh and sliced onion. As for the you tiao, it is not as crispy as compared to other you tiao stall but still has a slight crispy texture and go quite well with the porridge.

Vegetarian  OK May 26, 2013
Categories : Food Court | Vegetarian

Saw several people queuing to buy food from this vegetarian store with wide variety of food selection attract me to join in the queue. In the end, I have chosen 3 dishes which includes the vegetarian curry chicken, tao kee and lastly the stir fried brinjal. Firstly, lets talk about the curry chicken. The curry chicken and the potato should be cook for a longer time so that the texture will be a little more softer. As for the gravy, it is not that fragrance as compared to the non vegetarian curry. Next the tao kee has a soft and chewy texture with a sauce that is a bit too bland. Lastly, the brinjal is too overcooked as the texture is too soft and mushy and the sauce is also a bit too bland.

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Coffeeshop | Roasted Meat

Brought a plate of mixed roasted meat with char siew and the other plate of beancurd with egg for lunch at this food court. The presentation wise is very nice and very appealing with the roasted meat nicely placed. For the taste wise, the roasted meat has a crispy and nice aroma skin while the meat has a soft and tender texture. As for the char siew, it is well marinated with a slightly red colouring, mild sweet taste and soft and very tender texture as well. As for the beancurd, it is slightly salty with the sauce and lastly the egg is sufficiently cooked. Price wise is reasonable and will recommend this stall to my friends.
