Was so hungry and came across this Madam Kwan's and oh well since I am hungry and Malaysian Cuisine was good we decided to go for it.

The place was big and it look classy to me for the lighting and ambiance ..... but somehow the classical music just dun suit the food that we gonna take and it was really loud!

Goh wanted to have beef so he ordered beef noodles (horfun) ($14.90) for me by looking at the picture I found the hokkien mee ($14.90) looks good so I go ahead ordering that. We also go for Chicken Satay (11.90) which the waiter recommend and also Fried Chicken wings ($11.90) and we decided to have plain water ($1 each refillable).

Waiting time was a breeze the food came out very fast .... and in no time our table were full! I was disappointed in the hokkien mee ..... it was salty and oily I didn't finished it just ate 1/4 of it. Goh said that the beef horfun was so so only there's better outside. Fried Chicken Wings was good very crispy and not too oily thumbs up, as for satay is also normal but ketupat was soft not so bad!

Wanted to order dessert but since the main dishes already disappointment we decided to give a miss to it and I dun think I will go back there again. Total spending after service charge - $65.45 for lousy food I think is really expensive

Went Parkway Food Republic for dinner and I love eating Nasi Lemak the only stall that is available for it is Toast Box. So I asked Goh to have dinner there.

Goh ordered Laksa. Nasi Lemak was not fragrant enough. The chicken was kinda skinny and ikan bilis was hard. Only the egg can make it! Goh's laksa hay bee hiam (dried shrimp) aroma was stronger and it actually overwhelmed the coconut aroma. Not a good thing. No wonder there was not much crowd.

After company event at Toa Payoh Sports Hall we walked over to the central there for dinner. Due to the hot weather, we decided to dine in air conditioned place so we chose to go BBQ Chicken. I remembered we went to Tampines One branch before and was disappointed with the food and service but this time since different branch we decided to try it out again.

We top up for soup and drink for a complete meal. As for the little one she opted for pizza and we go for the teriyaki chicken flavoured pizza. Unfortunately, the picture on the menu turned out to be different from what we were being served. We went ahead to eat it anyway because we were all very hungry and we think that maybe because it was nearing their closing time so some of the side dishes might not be available but I think is a responsibility for the staffs to inform us upon our ordering.

Mashed Potato was cold, it was not even warm so it was very unappetizing. The chicken was rather fatty and the whole combination seems not right. I don't think I'll patronise this place again.

10 Scotts - a place that birthday girl choose to go. She went on a weekday before and was raving about their service and food so we are all ready and looking forward to it! We love to eat and this time round is almost full attendance for the birthday celebration so I brought TT and Goh along this time too!

First when we reached ...... I feel I was like walking into an atas food court instead cos there was no one attending to you, dunno which is the main door, no reception and I have to go in and find my friends on my own. Upon sitting down for like 20mins still no one attend to me for any drinks! I have to call for her and Goh ordered an ice coffee and the waitress asked him whether he want with or without milk. Goh replied her with milk. I asked for an ice lemon tea and ice chocolate for TT.

Waitress told me there isn't anymore children cup she can only provide me with glass! I have no choice but to let TT uses the glass if not she will have nothing to drink! Really very sad to hear that there isn't any more children cutlery.

After another 20mins my drinks was not served! TT want to go to the ladies so I brought her there and when I came back my drink was here but no syrup and no milk (waitress ask Goh whether he want before) was given! Lemon Tea was served without syrup on my table, at least there was like 1/4 served to my friend's table. Tea was totally diluted. I ordered my 2nd drink - Raspberry Ice Tea. Very diluted.

TT's drinks was no where to be seen so I waited another 10 mins and I told my friends her drinks was not served.

Goh and I were given 2 tier of small bites and whatever we finished plates was taken away but with no refills. When we reordered, they still came back with wrong orders.

Besides the food served, there was also a live station too. The maki, peking duck take forever to refill was uninspiring.

Scones which is on the menu was served when they clear my 2 tier tray I saw my friend's table none was touched except mine cos I like scones TT love it too! 2 complimentary pies was given to the birthday girls and it also took a long time to be served because all of us were almost crowding around them

Paying for $48++ per pax to a 5 star hotel with bad service isn't worth the trip at all.

Remembering Pauline's blog about Ajisen I decided to go over and dine there is been a long time since I last had. From my last experience at Ajisen, I realized that their standard dropped so this time I shall give a try again to see if they improved.

Some changes were made to their sets so I have to seek help from the waitress. After tasting their standard really not there anymore maybe I shall pop by other branches to try cos not nice anymore at PP. The ramen soup base was salty and the chicken was not tender at all. Side dish like the fish cake was cold not even warn when served. Ambiance still ok, not much crowd so still can have some quiet dinner with close friends!
