Craving for Penang food so we headed to Gurney Drive @ T3 for dinner and since the Changi Millionaire 2013 is still on going dining or shop here won a chance for us to the lucky draw! Why not just try our luck haha ....

As usual Alyssa go for the kid's meal which come with free yakult and thats her favourite, kids meal - sweet & sour fish with nugget and rice ($5.90). baby finished everything I guess it should be good and no complain from her.

Goh ordered Penang fried kway tiao ($7.50) and I go for Penang Hokkien Prawn Mee ($6.50) and we ordered a side dish belacan chicken wings ($4.90) to share and this dish is child friendly so Alyssa can enjoy eating with us!

I miss the ampla juice from Penang so I order that to ease my craving ($3.20 small) and I am surprise that Goh ordered calamansi juice ($2.90 small) cos he will always complain sour! Good enough he finished everything except me cos the ampla juice cannot compare the one I had in Penang!

Overall we feel that the standard did drop .... I hope the standard will be good again for my next visit!

Since my gf have 50% discount we decided to go TCC for dinner. We choose to go T3 cos they serve all day breakfast as my gal love to eat their hotcakes! We ordered Hearty Breakfast with eggs & srooms, morning egg & ham stack, Berries & banana morning enchantment.

My gf was very disappointed with her order (hearty breakfast) the bread was hard and she even commented that Mcdonald breakfast was much worth eating. As for my gal she ordered the morning egg & ham was quite nice the pancake itself was very thick and no complain for another dish so it should be good as maple syrup was served together with it the combination was good. We shared some other finger food like salad, chicken wings, shroom bites we were all very disappointed as all of them was not very nice .... and some dishes came out which is a bit cold as it is not freshly made.

It was pouring heavily and we decided to have hot soupy ramen at Ramenplay. Thanks to my girlfriends for the fast legs and hands to be queue for dinner. Most of the restaurant there have long Q lucky they Q and gotten us seats at Ramen Play manage by Breadtalk Group!

I ordered a prawn ramen and it looks like chinese prawn noodle! Soup base was salty but it do compensate with fresh prawn! Personally love the bamboo chicken, it was served in bamboo and egg yolk as a dip. But after the meal I have to gulp lotsa water!

We waited for like 20 mins for the food to be serve and is mend by elderly couple. We ordered Kang Kong, Fish, hay chou, crayfish, tofu, broccoli and one pork dish. Before we go over we did do a little reading about this stall on the web .... all given good comment. But I feel that it wasn't that nice at all, the crayfish was a plus point cos it was de-shelled when serve but it not really nice at all to think that on the net there are people raving about.

Tofu is the worst I find cos it had a charred smell which tasted funny .... I only take one small piece to taste and I just passed that dish! Fish wasn't really fresh too ... tats why it was cooked with sauce! But all I can say that is cheap!

Total bill for all these cost only $66!!! WOW!

Penang Char Kway Tiao: This is good not too oily!

Love this very much especially the chilli goes into the flavourful soup won't steal away the taste!

Fruits was fresh and the sweetness just nice too yummy!

Presentation was good and taste was normal

Crispy fried chicken still nice even is a bit cold

Normal nothing to rave about

Waitress whom took our order was not local she was not really friendly and she don't know how to recommend the food either. Choices of dishes was limited so we order a few like sambal kailan, Fu Yong Seafood Egg, fried chicken wings, sambal prawn and for appetizer we ordered Mango Salad and Fruit Rojak. The rest will be some main courses like Sin Chow Bee Hoon (on the menu it was added as a new item), Fried Kway Tiao, Fried Rice (1 non spicy and 1 spicy), Prawn Noodles.

Restaurant was half filled for the lunch crowd and the serving of food was quite fast! In no time our table were full of food! One local auntie whom served us food was more friendly she was so kind to give us extra bowl to share the food too!

Overall we feel the Fried Rice, Prawn Noodle were good. The sambal prawns were cooked with more lady fingers than prawns, seafood eggs was over priced. Very thin egg film was served with little ingredients inside. So after the lunch, we ordered dessert too.

Be cautious when you do ordering especially the Tang Yuan. My boss and I ordered that with red bean base and almond base respectively but the tang yuan was not cooked for both flavours! It was almost like eating powdery balls. I think only their cold desserts are good.

Total bill was $120 tongue

Overall still okay in my rating of 3.5/5. Definitely will wanna come back for more of their Fruit Rojak and Prawn Noodles!
