Came across Mr Baguette when we are at Golden Mile Hawker seems interesting so I just went to check out. Lady Boss was very friendly as I check what is left. I choose Cheese Tart ($1.80) and Nutella Lava ($1.80) after that I saw a flat round bread so I asked what's that she told me is Curry BDan ($1.80) so I just took one more. Just before I wanna make payment she ask me why I am not interested in their best seller - Baguette Tart ($1.20)

Cheese Tart - they use 4 types of cheese and use their homemade baguette for this, is a lava experience one bite and the filling just ooze out! HEAVEN!

Nutella Lava - as we pack back the moment i open it the chocolate filling already ooze out. But still when one bite the nutella chocolate just burst into the mouth chocolate lover will love this to the max!

Curry Bdan - Is suppose to be crispy when is hot from oven but cos we pack back and lazy to make hot again so we dun get to have that crispy feel! Curry itself smell very nice .... bits of chicken meat was found inside. Thumbs up for this!

Lastly the Baguette Tart - Egg filling was very soft but I find it tad sweet. Soft and smooth egg filling combination with the baguette cup was nice something different and if you are a egg tart lover this should be another option! And according to the Lady Boss it was a low fat recipe. There are many more choices I will go back to try more and wouldn't mind the weight gain from this stall!

Cuttie Panda Bao OK Sep 19, 2013

After visiting Kai Kai & Jia Jia, will sure passby Mama Panda Kitchen the restaurant will attract not only children but a big child like me to go in. Cos the Panda bao look really so cute and the signage outside the restaurant show only 200 pieces made per day while stocks last!

Beside bao they have other food as well but we just order the bao to try cos we are still full. Panda bao was $2.90 each and is a normal red bean paste filing. I dun really like red bean paste ... but still I manage to finish one not too bad when it is still pipping hot. Bao was bigger as compare to other selling outside, combination not too bad! I think it would be better with chicken meat filling!

French or chinese? Smile Sep 18, 2013

Happen to get to know that there is a new food place just located at my house there. French or chinese? thats what I thought in the first place!

Read some review on this place so we went to give a try!

We ordered a Claypot Rice (small $11), BBQ Live Prawns ($9.60), Fried Chicken Wings ($6.40), Butter Oatmeal Beancurd ($6.40) and a pot of Chrysanthemum Tea ($4).

Claypot rice appeared at most table and it smells good! The waiter mixed sauce for us and handed to us after mixing it, generous chicken meat with chinese sausage makes the rice smell and taste good even Alyssa love it cos usually she will give a miss if she see with dark sauce. And I love digging the crispy charred bits and eat it!

BBQ Live Prawn was very fresh and sweet, water cress soup was quite favourable and we love it! Fried Chicken Wings - crispy and not too salty. Oatmeal Beancurd - the combination sounds good but the beancurd was too dry which I dun like and won't go for it!

We order 1 Tau Suan ($2.60) for dessert but I find it too sweet so I gave the rest to Goh to finished it. I will definately go back for more!

Yummy Mao Shan Wang Smile Sep 16, 2013

We love to eat Leong Tee's durian (Mao Shan Wang). During Durian seasons when we open our office door the aroma was so strong and will often make us crave for it.

We had 4 durian in total this time... each seed was small and makes the meat so fat and creamy! It taste sweet and bitter at times is my liking of it! And Leong Tee even gave us some mineral water as well and beside durian he also sell the queen of fruits - mangosteen! Maybe some sweet durian was eaten the mangosteen tasted sour tongue

I dun find it nice just spicy

I dun find it nice just spicy

Met up with a friend to have dinner and we choose to dine in Lerk Thai cos is a rainy day so I craving for spicy hot soup!

So we each order a small bowl of Tom Yum seafood clear soup ($5), pineapple rice ($10.90), crispy minced chicken pancake ($9.90), baby french bean with sambal ($10.90) and coconut ($5).

We were served cracker with sweet & spicy chilli ($2) upon making out orders. I was expecting hot soup but the tom yum soup served was warm only. French bean was not much of any other taste except spicy, pineapple rice was good generous floss was sprinkle on the rice with crunchy cashew nuts! Best was the crispy minced chicken pancake but is kinda pathetic small. Coconut meat was very hard to dig out but coconut water was sweet! Overall we spent $63.20 after all service charge and GST added in.
