Remember to go for their lunch special, for just $15 and below, you get to choose a main with soup of the day and a drink. I order the bockwrust sausage with cranberry rice & fries. The rice was very tasty with bits of cranberry to enhance the taste. The sausage was so soft and chewy, together with the huge chunk of fries. Come out from Holland village mrt and walking past a few shop and you will find D Good café.  I had the English breakfast and the amount of food was quite generous, however the taste was very normal to me and you can top a few dollars more for a cup of latte. But the ambience of the café was sweet and warm, thus these really attract me to the café, it’s definitely a good place to have a cup of latte and catch up with your friends.

It took me quite some time before I get to find this café, as it is located at one of the hdb at Toa Payoh. I ordered waffle topped with 2 scoops of ice cream, and the sea salt gula Melaka flavor is definitely a must try here, as it has a mixture of sweet and saltiness. Next the waffle was also crispy as well. However, the seating capacity was too small, thus you might have to wait for quite sometime before you can get a seat. [Review from mobile]

The xiao long bao is definitely a must try dish whenever I come to din tai fung. The skin is so thin and it’s filled with a lot of soup, and the meat was also very generous too. My next favorite dish will be pork chop fried rice; it is very fragrant and topped with a generous portion of pork chop. I ordered the berries & flapjacks, as it was one of their best sellers there. It comes with four pieces of pancake topped with a mixture of berries and drizzled with maple syrup and cream, the portion was definitely very generous.
