Black coffee with banh mi must be one of the best breakfasts on a normal weekday. 

The thick french loaf soaked up the juicy meatball and gave it a chewy-ness which could only be found in this kind of viet style french loaf. The preserved veg gave it a refreshing lift which made it so easily to eat. What a great meal to kick start my day!

To complete our night we went to Drips Bakery Cafe for some healthy dessert. 

It was only opened a couple of years but its fame spreaded like wild fire. They freshly baked their tarts on a daily basis. Thanks to the fast selling tarts, this ensure all the ingredients they used were fresh. 

Generous with the berries and buttery tart made this one of the best tarts. The tart was so buttery that overpowered the berries. After finishing the tart (alone), it didn't created any heaviness or bloated feeling.

One cup of hot tea with a chilled tart equal to awesome night.  
 

Honestly speaking other than the atmosphere of the environment is very relaxing and great place to chill out. The food and coffee could not make it. 

Their egg benidict was very normal. They just pan fried the ham and placed on the muffins and finished with the eggs and holiday sauce. The holiday sauce had neither trace of buttery taste nor fragrant of the egg yolk. 

They didnt toasted the bagel and served it cold. I really wonder where they get the smoked salmon from. It was my first time eating smoked salmon without the "smoke" taste. 

Rest of the dish didn't even worth mentioning. 

After a run at Macritchie Reservoir, my friend brought me to this place to eat back all the calories burnt. 

Air con enviroment with lots of seats. Good place for large group of diners. 

Tearing their prata into small piecs and dipped into the curry was like the best thing can happened on a friday morning. The semi watery curry sticked onto the prata, yet the crispiness of the prata remained. 

Their curry had a hint of sourness and strong aroma from all the spices. Heavy in smell but light on the taste bud. 

Personally I felt that their Tandoori Chicken was the best I ever ate. Looked dry on the outside but it was so moist inside. The surface was clothed with the layer of spices and the super heated charcoal sealed up all its juices insde. Try it was the lemon. Just a small squeeze of lemon juice, it provide the dish with an refreshing touch. 

Simply can't stop eating. 

Another comfort food found in golden mile food centre. 

The duck was braised till perfection. The meat neither too soft till it fall away nor the flavor didnt get into the meat. The brew was so good infused with the spicies and the fat from the duck. Simply can't get enough of it. 

Their slight sour and garlic-y chili sauce was the best friend for their duck. It improved the flavour twofold and helps to reduce the heaviness of the fatty meat.
