Cereal crunch chicken OK Jan 22, 2014

Categories : American | Fast Food | Halal

I happen to pass by and saw the latest golden cereal crunch chicken and decided to give it a try.It was after dinner and i queued and got my orders in less than 10 minutes.I was very excited about the cereal chicken as i have imagined it to be slightly on the sweet side. However it was different from what i have imagined, the chicken tasted more like curry chicken crunch instead of cereal crunch.

It was my first time ordering here,i ordered the one with chicken floss at only $2.90 which is very reasonable. And topped up only $1 for a cup of iced lemon tea which was originally $1.50 each.I was surprised there was no waiting time,i received my order immediately as they have prepared several pieces in advance.I was pretty disappointed as my egglet was overdone, abit charred and overburnt on the outside. And there was very little egg floss inside the egglet,at least half were empty without fillings.

Yummy Tze Char Smile Jan 22, 2014

Nice and affordable tchi char stall located on the top floor of far east plaza.I was recommended to come here by my friend if not I wouldnt know there are so many food stalls here on the topmost floor of far east plaza. There is no gst here and I ordered a hot plate toufu at $10 and another plate of thai chilli chicken also at $10.The items are well cooked and goes really well with rice. The thai chilli chicken was abit too spicy for me as I initially thought it would be those sweet and spicy thai chilli, but nope the chilli used is different here not sweet at all, pure spicy.Hot plate tofu is also yums with prawns, fish slices, chicken strips, mushrooms and egg tofu.

This is the best fish soup i have tried and really loves although i seldom eat fish soup as i love my meal quick. There is always a never ending queue once the stall opens. They are open in the morning from 11 to about 2 and closed until dinner time and reopen again around 6 to 830pm.The queueing and waiting time for order is min 30 minutes onwards but the food is really worth the wait. The soup is very fresh and sweet without any addition of milk like some other places offer.Interestingly there are bittergourd strips in the fish soup itself which i have not seen elsewhere.Although usually i do not eat bittergourd, but i would finish the bittergourd here with the soup as they are too tasty to resist.Fish slices here are thick, fresh and firm, they are very delightful to eat, and i would always order the largest portion as i enjoy the sweet fish slices and healhty yummy soup alot.

best fried chicken Smile Jan 20, 2014

Categories : Fast Food | Halal

They have the best fried chicken around.I really love their nice blend of special spices used to marinate the chicken which makes it taste so tasty and different from those outside. The chicken skin is thin and very crispy and there are nice tinge of spice aroma in them, beneath the skin lies juicy tender yummy chicken meat.It is quite stressful and pressured to eat quickly here during lunch time as there will be long queues forming out the restaurant waiting for seats.
