Besides selling croquette balls of various flavours, they have one of the best yumy value for money bentos here.I love their fried chicken bento that comes with tasty Japanese pearl rice and yummy potato salad at the side. They used to give 2 croquette balls of your choice but it has been replaced with potato salad which i loves too.The nicely fried crispy chicken was drizzled with mildy sweet bbq sauce which enhanced its flavour.

Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi | Buffet

This is one of the best value for money Japanese buffets around, for only about $20 excluding drinks. For $20 there is quite a wide range of items including sashimis, sushis, fried items such as tempura prawns, gyozas, tako balls.Cooked dishes such as stewed chicken, chawamushis, radish soup etc. There is also cold appetisers which are served in small individal dishes. There is also a ramen station for ramen and dessert corner with fruits and cakes as well as soft served ice cream. All these all you can eat at only approximately $20.Taste is ok and ambience is good, the place is quite big and servers are attentive and quick to clear plates.Menu is changed monthly hence some items may be different depending on season or theme set.

Best toasts Smile Jan 20, 2014

I love Yakun's kaya butter toast, although sometimes waiting time could be quite long.I can have them anytime of the day for breakfast, lunch or dinner.Best to go with a cup of nice iced milo and plate of watery half cooked egg mixed with soya sauce and pepper. This combo is really addictive.I tried their kaya puffs too and it is actually quite nice as the puff is soft and inner kaya fillings not too sweet as well.

healthy yummy nuts Smile Jan 20, 2014

This is a new outlet and i love to come here for healthy and delicious nuts. They are mostly sold per 100gram depending on the nuts, nut mixes or items you choose. They have festive cookies such as pineapple tarts for the upcoming lunar new year too.My favourite would be their smoked nut mixes and caramel nut mixes at about $5 to $6 per 100 grams which is very reasonable as they are very fresh and warm as you recieve them ,as their display case has heater encapsuled just like an oven.In the various nut mixes there are almonds, cashew nuts, macademias, brazil nuts, pine nuts etc. They are great tasting, crunchy and healthy, and makes perfect snack anytime.

I was here for a few times, the buffet used to be ala carte order, you can order from the menu and the waiter will bring your food to you but now they have changed to self service, the food are laid out in front at the buffet counter and you can take whatever you want but they are not replenished fast enough upon finished. They used to have some free mains which can be ordered once per person too such as the seafood kimchi soup, cold noodle too but not available anymore.Food and service is normal, nothing to rave about.
