Lunch hour OK Mar 07, 2014

Good:
- Ordered the aglio olio spaghetti. The portion is surprisingly huge, which makes you really full.
- Not oily and texture of the spaghetti is just right.
- Had friends who ordered pizza and they say that it was good as well

Not-so-good:
- Not quite spicy. They uses big chilli instead of chilli padi. Not perfect for someone who prefers their aglio olio to be of the usual spiciness.
- Not close to MRT. Around 15min walk from Orchard MRT.

Overall:
Will return again next time to try their pizza, since they are famous for it.

Sunday lunch with games OK Mar 05, 2014
Categories : European | Bars/Lounges | Pasta | Steaks and Grills | Burgers and Sandwiches

Good:
- Each table houses its own devices for you to play. The sound system is built in such a way that you will not be disturbed much by another table's gaming.
- Allows you to play while eating at your own pace. You can even watch a movie as you eat as DVDs are provided for you to choose.
- Multi-devices available to play with at each own station. Devices include Playstation, Xbox and Wii.

Not-so-good:
- Food is average. Ordered the pork chop which was kind of dry and a little tough. Also ordered a cheeseburger but the beef patty taste dry as well. Have tasted juicier ones outside.
- Limited number of games. Standard ones include sports games such as NBA and FIFA. Wii games are quite standard as well such as Raving rabbits, mario karts, wiisports etc. Ended up just playing raving rabbits as that is the most interesting a couple can play together.

Overall:
The experience is interesting but will probably not return again since the games are limited and the food is average.

The famous chicken rice OK Mar 04, 2014
Categories : Hainanese | Hawker Centre | Chicken Rice

Good:
- The meat of the chicken was soft and smooth. Not dry at all.
- The rice was fragrant.
- The chilli and soup taste good too.

Bad:
- The queue is long, even before lunch hour.
- The rice seem a tad too mushy and wet.
- The foodplace may get a little warm in the afternoon, especially when spending nore time waiting for seats.

Overall:
Would return to eat again, since it is one of the best chicken rice around.

XXL pizza! Smile Dec 22, 2014
Categories : Italian | Restaurant | Pasta | Pizza

When we went there at 7.45pm on a weekday, the queue was super long! Had to wait for at least 30minutes and they would not let you in until all are present. No reservations too. It was my second time trying Peperoni. Once we went in, there were a huge variety of pizzas on the menu. We had 4 of us, so we decided to take the XXL ($50) size while choosing 2 types of pizza. We ordered Prosciutto Crudo di Parma (Pork), which consisted of parma ham and rocket salad, and Quattro Formaggi, which contains Mozzarella, taleggio, scamorza & gorgonzola cheese. It took around 15 minutes for the pizza to arrive, which was fine. It was sliced into 52 slices for our convenience. The latter was good, for those who love cheese. The former was better in my opinion, as the ham and rocket salad mixed up to be really delicious and appetising. The crust of the pizza was not too thick like pizza hut, but they were not too thin like skinny pizza. Suits me perfectly!
The only downpoint was that an XXL pizza was not quite enough for 4 guys as we went to have desserts elsewhere thereafter.

After trying Ice Edge Cafe, we decided to try Hatter Street to see how it fares. We went there at around 9pm on a Wednesday so there was no queue. However, because there were not many tables itself, so it was relatively full. We ordered 2 waffles to try: Vanilla ice cream with salted caramel sauce and chocolate ice cream with chocolate sauce. Not much variety and nothing faciful. The waffles were belgian waffles. They were big enough for 2 person to share and they were really crispy! They were warm too when served, though they quickly got cold in a matter of minutes. Chocolate ice cream can never go wrong. Am not a huge fan of vanilla ice cream. But the salted caramel sauce was a good compliment to the waffle and ice cream. Priced at $8.90 per waffle, not too bad! Water was complimentary by the side, self serviced.
