Four Leaves  Smile Jul 03, 2012

This is so nice! I got attracted to it as it was placed at the front entrance. The petite shaped doughnut is very attractive. There are 3 flavours, original , strawberry and chocolate. I opt for the chocolate one. The texture tasted somehow like sticky pudding cake kind. It is not made of flour but more of a thicker cake texture. With bits of chocolate chips in it. It is really tasty but it's so small that can't fill my tummy.

Chance upon this eating place while driving through Jalan Kayu and decided to give it a go. There isn't a single soul at all perhaps we were too early for dinner (around 6pm). The soup is tasty and the pork ribs are cooked till really soft and tender. I would drenched my rice with dark soya sauce and dip my pork ribs into it as well. I also ordered you tiao and peanuts. VERY TASTY indeed. Will come back here again perhaps for supper! Oh and not forgetting to mention, you can top up your soup without any charges!

91 Fried Kway Teow Mee  Smile Jul 03, 2012

A sinful pile of fried noodles which is worth the calories! On a healthier note, the owner even came up with the idea of decorating the entire plate with green vegetables at the top then sprinkled a handful of those crispy small silver fishes. I took away mine thus the silver fishes are packed in a small translucent packet. So convenient! It is not dry at all nor too wet.

An ongoing food fair at Takashimaya and i can't stop but to buy these petit doughnut again. I bought 2 packets of 10 each. They have them in petite doughnut or in ball forms. I had both the ball and doughnut per pack. They actually taste the same and both have similar taste, texture and all. Of course i would prefer the doughnut ones as they are cuter and easier to bite. Nice flavours they have and i especially love their custard and cream ones. Not forgetting to mention that their service is very efficient.

Onion soup! I love it.. The smell and taste is not really strong at all. In fact, it tasted like some normal western soup. I love how it taste with a tinge of peppery taste in it. The onions are all cooked till really soft that you can break them apart by exerting pressure with your tongue. There's a small slice of garlic bread for you to dip into the soup as well. Yummy!
