91 Fried Kway Teow Mee  Smile Jul 03, 2012

A sinful pile of fried noodles which is worth the calories! On a healthier note, the owner even came up with the idea of decorating the entire plate with green vegetables at the top then sprinkled a handful of those crispy small silver fishes. I took away mine thus the silver fishes are packed in a small translucent packet. So convenient! It is not dry at all nor too wet.

An ongoing food fair at Takashimaya and i can't stop but to buy these petit doughnut again. I bought 2 packets of 10 each. They have them in petite doughnut or in ball forms. I had both the ball and doughnut per pack. They actually taste the same and both have similar taste, texture and all. Of course i would prefer the doughnut ones as they are cuter and easier to bite. Nice flavours they have and i especially love their custard and cream ones. Not forgetting to mention that their service is very efficient.

PS Cafe OK Jul 03, 2012

Had their chicken salad since my friend can't consume seafood. Else i would have ordered their prawn ones. The greens are pretty fresh and juicy. The portion is really huge which can serve up to 3 i guess. There's a poached egg sitting on top of the entire salad with small cubes of bread toast, slices of cheese and chicken chunks. I didn't really like the chicken as they were a little too dry to my liking. Service wise is average only given the posh setting of the cafe, i was expecting more.

Onion soup! I love it.. The smell and taste is not really strong at all. In fact, it tasted like some normal western soup. I love how it taste with a tinge of peppery taste in it. The onions are all cooked till really soft that you can break them apart by exerting pressure with your tongue. There's a small slice of garlic bread for you to dip into the soup as well. Yummy!

Old Town White Coffee OK Jul 03, 2012   (Related Review)

My first try on ice cream toast. The ice cream is vanilla, no choosing of flavours though. Nothing too fantastic to rave about. It's just normal ordinary ice cream sandwiched in between 2 slices of toast. The toast is nice and crunchy and ice cream is sweet which compliments the entire thing well. Service is great! Even though the staffs were pretty old, their service is really great!
