Mango Sorbet OK Apr 21, 2012

Mango Sorbet

Mango Sorbet

Mango Sorbet from Gelare at Vivo City. Gelare had lived up to its "smooth and thick" promise. Had it at only 50 cents per scoop as they are having a promotion for these flavors, mango sorbet and raspberry sorbet. I think it tastes not bad but my friend love it very much. Anyway it is quite a good dessert to chill out on a sunny day and and have a small chat with friend.

Hei Sushi OK Apr 21, 2012

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Sushi/Sashimi | Halal

Hei Sushi is known as the halal version of Sakae Sushi, even the menu is also kinda similar to Sakae Sushi. I personally think that the food there are average, no much choice though, he sushi on the conveyor belt are kinda limited. The ordering system is troublesome, although it is simple enough to function, but time for the food to be served is quite fast. There are still space for the improvement of the freshness of the food.
The sushi overall is ok, and among all, I prefer chawanmushi the most.

full large bowl of mee and yong tau foo. I choose two kind of vege so the vege just covered the whole bowl, but actually there are other ingredients hiding inside. However the ingredients are quite small, and not fresh, so i seldom buy from this stall. howevery my friend always like to eat the food from this stall

share tea OK Apr 21, 2012

$2.4 for a milk tea with pearl

I like the pearls, chewy and sweet, almost as nice as koi's pearl. The milk tea has too much of milk essence, which i dont like. I could feel that i was drinking the milk essence and not the tea. If u want to try for it, dont order 50% less sugar as it's really not sweet, diluted by the ice cubes. i think 80% will be okay.

Yi JIn Yuen Curry Rice OK Apr 20, 2012

Chong Pang Market is actualy quite near to my house.
Well to be honest, I dont really like to dine here as the environment is really not a satisfied one. The tables are sometimes oily and dirty, and so does the chairs and the floor. But the food here are really nice and cheap, so I will usually buy those food home as I will be able to enjoy my food at home more than having it in there.

Bought this as dinner yesterday. Not expensive, it only costs me ard SGD3.50, with a relatively large portion of rice and dishes, tau pok, vegetables and potatoes. Quite yummy though. Just that the vegetables can be slightly oily.

Overall, the food are ok. To me, only the environment made me dont feel like having my meals there.

Spending per head: Approximately $3.50(Dinner)
