Ala Carte Breakfast Smile Apr 28, 2013

This Burger King in Clarke Quay opens 24 hours, daily. A very suitable place for you to turn to when you're extremely early in the morning, or hungry in the middle of the night. Yesterday, I had my breakfast there. I ordered the Egg Benny from the Ala Carte menu which only costs me $2.50, for two cute mini burgers.

The size of each burger was slightly smaller than the palm of my hand, they looked very cute and mini smile
The bread texture was superb, slightly crispy on the outside while soft, and tender in the inside!
Awesome chewy sensation! The bread was a little sweet too, it was not tasteless!

As for the bacon, they were as nice and delicious as expected, with a little saltiness.
A great combination with the scrambled eggs because the egg tasted bland!

One of the best and cheapest breakfast you can ever find in Singapore!

Beef Noodles Smile Apr 28, 2013

Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Food Court | Noodles

It was my first time trying out the Beef Noodles at the lower ground food court in Ion Shopping Mall,
one of the best beef noodles I have tried.

Price wise, it is very reasonable and affordable.
$5 for a set of beef noodles with soup (since I ordered dried noodles).
Additional $1 for beef balls.

The gravy was very thick and starchy. It was not as salty as expected.
Perfect match with the 'chu mi fen'.
Sliced beef were generously given, with fresh beansprouts as toppings.

Quite a worthy meal. smile

Service was extremely quick too!

Prawn Noodles Smile Apr 25, 2013

This noodle stall, which has lasted for more than 10 years sells yummy noodles at affordable prices.
I always buy ba chor mee or mee tai mak for breakfast from the aunty.
However, that day, I was tempted to eat the Prawn Noodles.
So I paid $2.50 for this bowl of prawn noodles, which is really cheap!!

The soup was tasty and tasted very 'prawny'.
Noodles went well with the soup too.
Fishcakes and a few prawns were given.

Overall, this meal was a cheap and filling one.

The aunty's temper is a little 'weird', so I have to be careful when I speak to her.

Java Chip Smile Apr 25, 2013

Categories : American | Coffee

I always go to Starbucks to study during exam periods and study breaks,
as the environment is always quiet, conducive and relaxing.
My favourite drink from Starbucks will be Java Chip from their Frappucino series.

So here's a cup of Java Chip with loads of my favourite whip cream.
Muahahah lol

The reason why I love Java Chip is because the coffee smell is not too strong,
and the blended chocolate chips are simply the best thing on earth!!
And it goes perfectly with the whipped cream smile

Although the drinks there might be a little pricey, the quality of drinks and services provided definitely worth more than what we are paying!!

Hokkien Prawn Noodles Smile Apr 24, 2013
Categories : Food Court

This Hokkien Mee is a MUST TRY. Besides the rojak stall, the Local Street Delights stall has the most patrons everyday.
So I had a plate of Singapore Hokkien Prawn Mee for only $3.50.

Look at the ginormous portion!!
The noodles were not too dry, it was kind of 'wet',
because the noodles were fried with prawn soup!!
Therefore, the noodles were very fragrant with prawn smell and taste!!
Yummmmms!!

The queue was quite long, thus you have to be patient to wait for about 5 - 15 minutes.
Good food always worth the queue ;)
