After an exhausting and tiring gym session, I was looking out for some food again.
I was so hungry so the first thing which came to my mind was RICE.
I went to this stall to pack some rice again.

I ordered extra rice because I was really hungry and craving for carbs food.
I also ordered fried beancurd skin with beancurd, sweet sour pork and stir-fried cabbage.
And this whole meal was only $3! So cheap!

The rice was really nice and addictive!
The gravy of the fried beancurd skin which was a little salty went very well with the rice.
The sweet sour pork was as wonderful as usual, love the sweet and sour sauce too!!
Fried cabbage was not bad too smile

I am a happy girl after eating this meal!!!!

Fresh Vege! Smile Jan 30, 2013   (Related Review)

I felt like eating ban mian for breakfast today.
However, after considering that I have to go for a run later,
I decided to eat rice as it is more filling.

Speaking of filling rice, of course I will opt for the Chinese stall in North Canteen.

This plate of rice only costs me $2, with cai sim, cabbage and pork slices.

The pork slices today were fried with dark soy sauce and arrowroot!
Tasted super awesome but I find it a little saltier this time...
However, the gravy really enhanced the flavour and texture of the rice!

The cai sim was very fresh! It was a little sweet and it was extremely green,
you can observe from the photo above!

The cabbage was a little oily, I found traces of oil on the plate after I finished everything.

Overall, this meal is really worth the money.
Aunty was very generous when scooping food for us too smile

After trying the sliced fish hor fun from this stall,
I decided to eat their beef hor fun since I am a beef lover too.

I was surprised that this packet of beef hor fun was only about $4, including the takeaway charges?!
I thought it was going to be expensive since beef in the market today is very expensive.

Anyway, the hor fun were extremely smooth and soft.
The gravy was not very starchy too. Total awesome!!
The sliced beefs tasted not bad.
The preserved green chillis which were sour did enhanced the taste of the whole packet of food!

Love buying food from this stall because the service was good, and the price is also very affordable!

Felt hungry all of a sudden so I went to dabao a packet of Sliced Fish Hor Fun.
I was craving for vermicelli (mi fen) at the same time, so I told the aunty to replace the hor fun with mi fen.

Looks weird but it was super tasty!!
This packet of sliced fish mi fen costs me approximately $4, extra charges for takeaway.

The sliced fish were fresh and sweet. The aunty was generous with her sliced fish too.
Cai sim was given so this was a healthy and balanced meal.
The mi fen was very good, soft and smooth.
Gravy was not very thick and salty.
In conclusion, everything complemented well with each other.

Good service too. Will try other dishes next time!

Went to this stall to buy my breakfast again because I love how generous the aunty is when she scoops rice for us.
Bought rice + added rice + fried dong fen + stir-fried brinjal + sweet sour pork.
The total was only $4, for such heavy meal!

As usual, the rice was rigid and hard, not the cheap and soft type.
The fried dong fen was very nice, it was not too soft and the dong fens did not really break.
Tasted very nice when fried with dong gua.
The stir-fried brinjal's taste was heavier than the bland dong fen. The brinjals were soft and the gravy tasted awesome when eaten with rice! smile
And lastly, my favourite sweet sour pork was the tastiest of all!!!

Great service, low price for good food.
Love to buy from here!
