I am appalled that cedele closes at 10pm on a Friday night.. Headed there for dinner with a couple of friends, and cedele seems to provide the right combination to long dinners and desserts after. Given we only got our seats at 8.30pm, the servers we're rushing the bills and clearing the plates by 9.30pm. sad

That aside, The food didn't disappoint. I haven't been to cedele in years and the only thing I remembered were their desserts. A friend had recommended the Sea Bass Lovers Sandwich ($16.80). It was a healthier choice amongst the menu. The cheese went perfectly with the walnut bread, but the fish was a tad overcooked. The sandwich would have been perfect if they had done the fish better.

All night, we saw plates after plates of cakes being dished out from the kitchen to the other tables. Sadly though, even though we were craving for desserts, the server informed us that they were closing, so no desserts for us. Cedele would have been an awesome place for a late night out since they have such fabulous desserts. They should definitely consider late night hours for weekends or Friday nights since they have good desserts to capitalise on.

Despite the crowd on a sunday night, Paradise Inn still manages to serve good food with acceptable service.

Recommended dishes: chopstick
Coffee pork ribs
Cereal prawns
Wasabi mayo prawns

Definitely try their flower teas, I usually go for the detox one with lavender/rose. Its great to wash down a delicious meal. Haven't tried their desserts before, but I usually go next door for them. Great for family gatherings, especially because its a chinese cuisine.
