Ramen  Smile Aug 09, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Ramen

Went to try the new Ramen store at Tampines 1. As usual will need to queue up to get in. Order 2 different type of ramen, the pork based and the milky based soup. Portion of the ramen is alright but comparing to other ramen, the eggs they used is hard boiled egg and to me I would think that the cha su is very thin.

I also ordered the gyoza for side dish, not that bad! But what is different from others is they have quite a few condiments and pickled onions on the table. At the same time what i think is thoughtful is they place a tub of ice water on the table which the waiter do not need to refill our cup now and then.

Char Kway Teow OK Jul 07, 2013
Categories : Malaysian | Halal | Noodles

Went to have dinner with my friends before our movies. Order the Char Kway Teow, rojak, Stingray and Sotong to share among us. Not my kinda food for the rojak as the taste is somewhat different from what we are eating from our normal rojak store. Char Kway Teow was alright while the Stingray is kinda small portion which is suitable for 2 person to share. Sotong was kinda salty for my tastebud, but pricing wise it kinda cheap.

Steamboat Lunch Smile Jul 07, 2013

Went to eat the steamboat lunch yesterday with family. I would think that the choices of food is alright as it ranges from all kind of food and only 1 kind of soup base. Will be great if you eat with your family and friends. Food is kinda clean when they bring out as it is wrap with a plastic sheet and the portion for 1 quantity or plate is just nice as if you want more you can just order again ! Nevertheless will try again with my family and friends.

Nasi Bojari

Nasi Bojari

Went to eat the newly open Madam Kwan at Vivo City which takes quite a while to look for the place. Order the Nasi Bojari + Lime Juice which it was a pity that the Otah was sold out. Food was not bad but the beef is kinda spicy. Price is kind of steep for a nasi lemak but nevertheless i will think that KL restaurant will be much recommended to taste the original Madam Kwan food.

Finally went to try this Thai restaurant below Tampines Mall ! Saw quite a lot of people went to this restaurant and so decided to give it a try ! We have to order the food first at the counter before they help you to find the tables to sit. Payment can be via cash but they do accept capital land voucher too ! Portion is kinda of big, but i the pineapple rice and fried kuey teow that i order might be a bit salty. But defintely it's value for money and great to have dinner with friends and family. Tables is kinda near to each other and it's limited so to avoid the lunch or dinner crowd to arrive early ! Will try their Tom Yum soup and other dishes again.
