Expensive but very Nice cutlet Smile Feb 05, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Ramen

Huge pork loin cutlet served with tons of fresh, crunchy cabbages and pickles. The cutlet was really thick , fresh and juicy. Although it was deep fried , it was not too oily.

Seafood Combo. It consists of prawns, fish, oyster. All deep fried. Same as the pork cutlet, it was also served with tons of fresh , crunchy cabbages and pickles.

The best part is , the cabbages are free flow!

Ma La Steam Boat Smile Jan 08, 2013

Was craving for some good food after my RT session at Khatib Camp. Walked further down the road and saw this steamboat restaurant which is offering si chuan ma la steam boat buffet. The buffet is ala carte style. There are more than 60 over dishes for you to order. For the soup base, you can choose 2 types. I had chosen ma la and chicken soup. There are also quite a variety of condiments and sauces available which you could mix and match to suit your own taste.

Had my dinner at this Japanese restaurant. The interior was nice and i am surprised to see some of the waitress wearing authentic Japanese kimono!

Mixed Sashimi - I am impressed by the presentation of the dish. Freshly cut sashimi and it was served with ice to ensure its freshness.

Deep Fried River Shrimps

California Hand Roll

Shark Fin Chawamushi

Tempura Udon

Overall, i am very satisfied with the ambience and most importantly the food!

Had my new year brunch at Olio Cafe.

Clayfish pasta with sambal egg sauce- It is a fusion dish i guess, which have the taste of which reminds me of chilli crab sauce.

Pizza - Forgot whats the name. The Pizza is filled with Shrimp, Cuttlefish , egg. Quite Nice

Seared Cod Fish with Yuzu Sauce and Olive Rice - The fish was slight grilled and was served with some greens and olive rice. The Yuzu really goes well with the fish.

Henir Teppanyaki Smile Dec 03, 2012

Tried their value lunch set. It comes with a plate of beef, mixed vegetable , a small bowl of miso soup and rice.

Though it is a value meal , but the portion of the beef is not small exactly. It is pan fried with garlic and black pepper sauce. The beef is considered tender , not too hard and the sauce is really tasty and goes well with the rice. The vegetables which consist of cabbages and beansprouts is nice too. Crunchy and Fragrant. Overall, for a $7.90 meal, it is reasonably good!
