Korean BBQ Smile Nov 29, 2012
Categories : Korean | Buffet | Korean BBQ

Located at the 2nd floor for the main building at Katong Village, this buffet styled Korean BBQ offers quite a wide spread of dishes. They served appetizers, some cooked food like Korean Rice cake, Noodles and most importantly, the spread of seasons meat for BBQ. You can enjoy " cooking " the meat with the "BBQ pit" and the servers are always there to help you clean the pit occasionally. Overall, it is quite a nice place.

Happened to drive pass Jalan Riang and saw this restaurant that was buzzing with crowd. Since it is near dinner time, decided to give it a try.

Home made ravioli with pumpkin & butter sauce
Italian Style Wanton. The sauce is creamy and goes well with the ravioli.

Parma ham and rocket pizza.
Recommended by the restaurant manager. 1st time trying this out. Not sure what is the name of the fresh vegetable but it come with a cocoa taste and it blends well with the saltiness of the Parma Ham.

Yummy Steak! Smile Nov 12, 2012
Categories : Steaks and Grills

Tomato Soup :

Rib Eye Steak: It was quite a large portion served together with aglio olio. The steak was charred grilled but it was still tender and juicy. I really like the aglio olio which it tasted really well unlike most of the aglio olio that i had tried was quite tasteless which i need to add alot of salt.

Hot Tomato combo :

Overall, it is a good meal with very affordable pricing!

Nice and Affordable Fast Food Smile Nov 12, 2012

Ordered a German Sausage with rossti for my lunch. Initially i was wondering will it really fit my stomach but it proved that it does. The two sausages were grilled to almost perfection. The sausages were quite big and there were really juicy. The rossti were kind of plain, which i guess it is to compliment the sausage. It was crispy on the outside and it really goes well with the sausages.

Was craving for something to warm my stomach on a cold rainy day, 1st time that came into my mind was a bowl of warm hearty soup. Since i am working in orchard, decided to make my way down to Soup spoon located at the basement of ION

Beef Goulash - My all time favourite. A bowl of warm thick soup which was filled with diced potatoes, carrots, celery and capsicum.

Caesar chicken mushroom wrap - Quite bland, but not too bad. It was filled with some diced chicken and vegetables.

Recommended Dish(es):  Beef Goulash
